WHo is to say those sources were reliable?

Couldn't the same thing be said about the Koran and Hadith?

It is the same with any other historical data. Or do you want me to believe all the apocrypha of the Bible now - with outrageous and fantastic stories about Jesus and/or other prophets.

Yet you expect me believe the outrageous and fantastic stories contained in the Koran.

Yes, I do. Because if the Qur'an says a thing, and then that thing gets corroborated by history and/or science - then you can accept that saying of the Qur'an as true. And I am not talking about metaphysics - that is another domain, one which science does not nor can explain - I am talking about historical facts and practical evidence.

The Quran is a book created by a lunatic who hated Jews. If you notice the Quran is nearly the exact opposite of Christianity or Judaism as if it was made to declare war on Jews.

The Quran also asks you to behead a non believer and person who does not convert.

Do i behead some one who does not convert to Christianity? Nope , move on my way.

We are hardly likely to find Muslim sources studying how many people Islam has killed in the course of jihad. If you can cite one however, please do.

So because Stalin killed lots of Russians and paedophile priests fiddle with kids, that means 270 million people killed by jihad is justifiable?

I'm not seeing your logic.

Interestingly, Jihad is fills up quite a bit of the Koran and Hadiths.

violent Jihad makes up
• 24% of the Medinan Koran,
• 21% of the Hadith and
• 67% of the Sira.

www.cspipublishing.com...

Altogether 31% of the trilogy is devoted to spreading Islam by the sword.

Don't get me wrong. Most Muslims are not interested in jihad or violence in the name of Islam. But there is a lot of it in the Medinan Koran and the Hadith.

Just to play devil's advocate... no, you don't today. But you did a few hundred years ago, and worse.

I think anyone who even attempts to address this topic comparing religion A to B is making a huge historical mistake. It isn't because a practice stopped a few hundred years ago that it never happened. It did happen, so did slavery.. so pot calling the kettle black comes to mind.

One word sums up this crazy speak. Vendetta.

It was on the 3rd March 1924 the Islamic Khilafah State in Istanbul, Turkey was formally destroyed by Mustapha Kemal in collaboration with imperial Britain. It was the day the Muslim Ummah as one Ummah and one state lost her leadership, the Khalifah. The Khilafah State was replaced by countless statelets spanning the entire Muslim world to be ruled by puppet rulers subservient to the agendas of the European powers. From then on, the Muslim Ummah has been governed by kings and dictators who have held onto their thrones by brute force, repression and terror. These puppet rulers have been there to guard the interests of the Western powers in our lands, keeping the ummah divided and ensuring the pillage of our resources.

www.aljunnah.com...

Yes, they want their Khilafah (Caliphate) State back.

We assert, without compromise, that it is only by the establishment of the Khilafah State, that the practical solutions of Islam can once again provide a real alternative for the entire world. The ‘Clash of Civilisations’ first discussed by Samuel Huntington is real and inevitable. We endorse the notion that there is a civilisational difference between Islam and the West and that the problem for the West is Islam and the problem for Islam is the West. By arguing this, we also maintain Islam, as a universal ideology, came for all of humankind, Muslim and Non-Muslims, and as such it is only Islam that serves as a Rahma (mercy) for all mankind. As the western ideology dominates the world today, the only challenge to it must come from Islam.

Anyone catch that last part? Islam, as a universal ideology, came for all of humankind. That is what they believe. No arguing that point. Islam is the ONLY mercy for all mankind and the only challenge to the Western Ideology (that they hate) must come from Islam. That is intolerance!! Not Peace!! Not tolerance!!

Yet the Koran corroborates the incident in which Ibn Ishaq states Muhammad ordered the execution of 800 Jews males and the enslavement of their women and children.

33:26 He also brought down their allies among the people of the scripture from their secure positions, and threw terror into their hearts. Some of them you killed, and some you took captive.

33:27 He made you inherit their land, their homes, their money, and lands you had never stepped on. God is in full control of all things.

Note the above source is the authorized translation of the Koran.

www.submission.org...

Ibn Ishaq expands the details of the incident

From page 84 & 85 of Ibn Ishaq's biography about Muhammad

"The apostle of Allah imprisoned the Qurayza in Medina while trenches were dug in the market-place. Then he sent for the men and had their heads struck off so that they fell in the trenches. They were brought out in groups, and among them was Kab, the chief of the tribe. In number, they amounted to six or seven hundred, although some state it to have been eight or nine hundred. All were executed. One man turned to his people and said, 'It matters not! By God's will, the children of Israel were destined for this massacre!’ Then he seated himself and his head was struck off...

...Now the apostle distributed the property of the Banu Qurayza, as well as their women and children, to the Muslims, reserving one-fifth for himself. Every horseman received three shares, one for himself and two for his steed, and every foot soldier one share. There were thirty-six horses present on the day of the Qurayza. The apostle dispatched an emissary to Najd with the prisoners, to barter them as slaves in exchange for horses and camels. The apostle of Allah selected one of the Jewish women, Rayhana, for himself, and she remained with him as his slave until she died. He had suggested marriage to her, that she should wear the veil (to separate her from all other persons, as his wives did), but she replied, 'Rather allow me to remain thy slave; it will be more easy for me, and for thee.'"

Indeed it is, but I am not preaching (nor would I ever) from a religious point of view that religion B is wrong when I am sitting firmly within the ranks of religion A.

I didn't quite get your point there I must admit, are you saying that because it is human history that makes it ok?

Furthermore, if you do truly look at human history, most of the killing was done in the name of a belief system. I'll not use the word religion because some of those beliefs weren't religious in the terms we use today to define religion. So.. how embarrassed are all you religious people now? Not at all.. that's right, you're ignoring your own history and what does that entail? Yes you got it kids, yet more chaos and mayhem at the hands of the crazy people. Yay!

Apparently you have looked little at History. Most wars have been fought over Economics ....

I am not sure your thought process , but if you look at Human History , and then you look at a religion. A god would be crazy to try to make a belief system if he did not believe in war in order to protect his belief. His belief would be wiped out in a matter of a century .. if that.

You must defend your beliefs or you will die believing them and they will die with you.

Human History is War and Power - that is why God will eventually abolish this. The world is getting worse if you havent noticed , not better. He wont have a choice but to finally step in because we are on the verge of killing everything , Humans , Animals , Nature - everything. That is why God finally comes. Man has hit the point that total destruction comes. He cuts this time short and intervenes , man's free will (as we understand it) ends and God makes himself known.

No, you did not die, and no, Jesus was not there. Your mind was playing tricks on you, a well known fact happening to persons in a NDE.

This is a little off topic so please excuse me OP.

A guy I met when I moved to a new neighborhood I befriended , a year later he was diagnosed with terminal cancer literally all over his body from head to toe. He asked for me to take care of him until he died , i agreed and took him to my home. The first week he was not bad and only had minimal pain mess and usually just took aspirin.

He woke one day to unbelievable pain which had him groaning in agony , I called the hospices nurses to get liquid pain meds because he could no longer swallow , he suffered severely for the next twenty four hours and still the doctors had not gotten him any meds by that next morning . At this point he was in such pain it brought me and all who seen this to tears.

At this point I had already called his family to let them know he would probably die this day but his pain and moaning continued.

I finally blessed some water and olive oil in the name of Jesus Christ , I banished him with the water and anointed him with the holy olive oil of our people. He instantly calmed down and went into a peaceful rhythmic breathing.

When this happened I felt God himself eter my heart , imagine that God sent His holy spirit to ease both our pains . I told Charlie my dying friend now at peace that Jesus may come for him or probably send someone he knew to bring him to heaven when he was ready to go.

Charlie although asleep at this point held a conversation with some unknown being for the next two hours until his family arrived. His daughter announced they were there for him and he reached out to her hand and then died only to live again with his lord and savior Jesus.

God has sent his holy spirit to me many times since this so don't tell me I have not met Jesus or that He and I have a relationship as promised by him. You will learn the truth soon enough the Jews were stiff necked too and God dealt with them , there is nothing new under the sun.

I wonder how people would respond if the reverse occurred: If it was Benjamin Natanyahu or Shimon Peres saying Israel has a mandate with the destiny to take over the world.

Also, this is not just any religious figure; remember, in Iran, the grand Ayotollah and his retinue (the ayotollahs) form more than just a symbolic head: they are intimately integrated, albeit, outside the parliamentary process, with the direction government takes.

They've already admitted to meddling with Israel's internal affairs, funding Hamas and Hezbollah (both of whom regularly murder Israeli civilians) - but not a problem. This doesn't qualify at all as a cassus belli.

It's as if you people are mentally prepared to refute any allegation or idea that belies your treasured notion that Iran is the target of western imperialism. You've given no though at all to the equally valid notion: perhaps Iran is inviting western aggression? Since every time they're told to stop, to at least tone it down, whether that be in it's rhetoric with the west or actions regarding their nuclear program, they always seem to respond in some provocative way. To excuse this as mere "self defence" despite the facts of it's apocalyptic rhetoric, is insane.

I am willing to bet this destruction would not have occurred if it was not for the millions of Christian Armeanians murdered by that Caliphate . I believe they were murdered because they were Christians and no other reason , I believe there church was the church of Smyrna.

Tears of Jihad
These figures are a rough estimate of the death of non-Muslims by the political act of jihad.
....Jews

Oddly enough there were not enough Jews killed in jihad to significantly affect the totals of the Great Annihilation. The jihad in Arabia was 100 percent effective, but the numbers were in the thousands, not millions. After that, the Jews submitted and became the dhimmis (servants and second class citizens) of Islam and did not have geographic political power.

This gives a rough estimate of 270 million killed by jihad.

ROUGH ESTIMATE!!!!!

Now thats stretching accuracy to make a point!

its ZIONISTS killing christians in Russia and funding both sides of WW2 and killing so many christians....
but thats OK!

oh and the native children in Canada.....oh boy thems the GOOD GUYS riiiiiigggghhht!

I won't disagree with that, but you seem to be a little biased and seem to forget that those wars, invasions, barbaric atrocities were committed in the name of X, Y King, or X, Y religion, or X, Y tribe over A, B tribe or some other far fetched crazy belief. You are also slightly loony tunes and unable to see beyond the end of your religious nose, so i'll simply wish you a good day and admire the Armageddon that you and the other religious nuts manage to bring in the very near future.

A religious person telling a non religious person they don't study history, bwuahahahahahahah. Mmmhmmm yep, you're so on the money there.

Keep on praying!

Best way to end a religious arguement is to quote the religions.

According to the traditional Jewish interpretation of the Bible, Israel's character as the chosen people is unconditional as it says in Deuteronomy 14:2, "For you are a holy people to YHWH your God, and God has chosen you to be his treasured people from all the nations that are on the face of the earth."

Although the Torah also says, "Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people

yadda yadda yadda

To those who win the victory, who continue to the end to do what I want, I will give the same authority that I received from My Father: I will give them authority over the nations, to rule them with an iron rod and break them to pieces like clay pots"(Revelation 2:26-27)
