Don't get me wrong. I agree that the majority of Muslims will not conquer anyone by war, but historically, plenty of Muslims have been willing to do so - including Muhammad.

I can only hope God proves them wrong by sending a small asteroid to destroy Mecca.

But I doubt they'd get the message even then.

What gets me though is if you were to criticize these leaders for what they said the liberals would call you an islamophobe, because Islam is a religion of peace!

A point often missed is that Islam, because Muhammad claimed to be the last prophet, is that Muslims consider Islam is be the successor and superior to Christianity and Judaism.

In other words, there is no equality of religions. To Muslims, Islam supersedes and replaces Christianity and Judaism.

Exactly how is saying Jesus is coming back soon a bad thing? All these other nations are full filling prophesy. We arent controlling a government that is saying , "We must bring about the destruction of all of Islam so Christianity can rule , YEAH!". I can believe what ever the hell i want too , but i am not believing the destruction of any government by my hand is going to spur along prophesy or the end of the world.

People have been saying Jesus is coming back soon for the past 2000 years. Get over it.

I believe he will come back eventually. Do i believe soon? Yes. Is there anything i can do to rush it along? No. It could be another 2000 years, we dont know. I dont care either - ill be in heaven when i die or in the rapture , makes little difference.

If you would be honest, then you would KNOW that Ibn Ishaq HIMSELF declared that he does not corroborate the stories he gathers - he simply gathered them without any further evidence or validation. He gathered everything he could from every possible source. WHo is to say those sources were reliable? It is a known fact that THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of stories had been narrated about Muhammad which had no basis in reality whatsoever.

It is the same with any other historical data. Or do you want me to believe all the apocrypha of the Bible now - with outrageous and fantastic stories about Jesus and/or other prophets.
