Hello People.

Just something I took a while ago:

Home has never been so far away
in the air I feel I'm here to stay
Silence all the way is silent fear
distant sun is cooling down the day.

Words by Siddharta.

Cheers!

Thanks people...!
The striped cat, and the black one are siblings.

The striped one is named Marjan, after the one eyed Lion of Kandahar Zoo, in
Afganistan.

The Black one, Little Doo..

I took the Pic of the Dog to PROVE it could be done. LOL...The owner could never get a face-on shot of the dog...It took me 5 minutes..
All I had to do was hold a rubber ball next to the front of the camera..
You know, "watch the birdie"!

I read a couple of sites with advice on buying digital cameras, they said just go for a cheap one unless you want to make large prints, which i dont, yet. So thats the plan.
Ill go into pc world when i next go by and have a look at what they have

AdamJ, my advice would be to go ahead and drop a few hundred dollars for a nice digital camera.

A couple years back I started out with little Casio and after a few months I was ready to upgrade to something a little better.

I really wanted a Canon EOS with all the accessories but I didnt want to spend a 1k+ for the new package. After shopping around online I found a great deal on Amazon.com for a used EOS with all the works for USD600, a little more than I wanted to spend but well worth it, imo.

AdamJ,

I looked around a bit, and found this
Sony Cyber-shot® DSC-S600 Digital Camera

For under 200 bucks, you get 6Megapixels.
Excellent optics, a sensitive CCD (up to iso1000)

I am a Sony Fan already, Most of my pics here are from a Cybershot thats about 3 years old now..

Check that one out!

Yeah the Cyber-shot is a great camera, my friend has one and he loves it

It's not too small and not too big. I break stuff easily.....too small and it's sat on or dropped, too big and it's banged up against everything and still dropped.
