From what I recall the original orb was red and then it changed to green. It was the general consensus that it mean we were heading in the right direction.

If you don't mind, what kind of program are you using? I'm going to see if I can find something similar for mac.

IT'S A CLOCK!
Rotate the image left, then flip horizontal... the numbers start with 12 at the top and "spiral" from 1 on around as the spiral shrinks...

Definitely a clock. Wondering what would happen if we were to layer multiple images of the clock onto one another...perhaps it would become clearer? I could do this, but am not at my work machine.

Is there anyway you can fiddle with that or see if it matches the beginning sound from the link to video that Avatar posted this morning? It seems like the clip for the site is short and it seems to be the first sound you hear on the video before the roar. Maybe you can analyze the roar as well after they have edited out the bzzz shound?

The first clip begins at 1:58 with what sound like the same sound at very beginning
