Well, psychologically from his standpoint, how he kept shooting is a matter for some question, if he was never trained to do it. But of course, it is entirely possible for an otherwise normal person to do that, with sufficient ideological determination that the people he is shooting somehow "aren't human enough to count", or so on.

And then if he is dressed as a policeman, think about it from the victims perspective:
You hear gunfire, and screams, most likely in the distance. This obviously is going to make you afraid, and prone to panicking and potentially irrational behaviour. Then you see someone dressed as a policeman calling to you (who will have come from the direction of the gunfire earlier). At this point you would likely assume that he has been told to evacuate you, or to tell you where to take cover while other policemen deal with the gunman, and go over to him. [In that situation, can you honestly say with certainty that you would assume the policeman is the actual gunman?] And get shot, obviously.

As for those fleeing in the water, accuracy not withstanding, from the shooters point of view less of those people could be seen (due to reflection and so on), making a less human shape (and less of an obvious target, to be sure) which would be psychologically easier to pull the trigger on.

This really reminds me of the Australian Port Arthur Massacre.

Again a "supposed single blond gunman" in a camp area, making exceptional number of kill targets, that would not normally occur by an untrained civilian, (i.e. multiple head shots in Port Arthur).

This looks so familiar, either a copycat, or something else.

By the way, the Port Arthur Massacre led to Prime Minister John Howard enacting far ranging new gun laws, including gun buy backs, etc, etc, which left many, many gun owners not happy.

Which makes it easier from his point of view, for sure. Doesn't make him a hitman any more than it makes every veteran of military service ever, a hitman.

So I'm not sure where you are coming from, because at the end of the day he is still human, and unlikely to have been part of a massive conspiracy to do something like this.

Just one word: Neo-nazis. They are some sort of problem in bigger cities. As immigration rates rise, more and more these sick people appear. There is a scene where terrorists do exactly what apex said. They start shooting, making a fake attack. Everyone running scared when a suicide bomber dressed like a policeman shows up. He gathers people around himself then press the button.

Not only that the politicians are circling around like vultures here already. "We have to tighten security" "We need tighter gun laws". etc. This makes me rage so bad that on the other hand I do understand how some people just flip.

This guy was plain and simply a murder, he was premeditated and not making any statement other than terror! This is the reason why ppl should NOT loose their gun rights! If the camp directors had been armed many lives would have been saved.

That he acted alone is hard to swallow, not impossible but rare certainly. The latest ive seen is 27 dead.. i don't know about the injured. I imagine it will take a week or so before the authorities figure things out. No doubt the ruling Labour Party was the target of the attacks. Seems Norway isn;t as all quiet as it seems.
