Now thats a perfect reflection of 4th of July brain cleansing nationalism!!

Attack messenger, bury head in sand and blindly cheer your corporate war mongering masters while waving around a small colored cloth on a stick made in china!! woo hoo!!!

The fact that GOP & DNC "leaders" have the nation circling the drain is a bitter pill to swallow on national delusional pride day.. indeed.

Heres an awesome video of CIA officials justifying "immoral" and "amoral" acts while meddling in other nations like a nosy neighbor.. done in your name.. paid for by you:

That's a pointless nihilistic response to the OP. What are you trying to say? You don't like the messenger, therefore you'll ignore the message and do nothing even though you acknowledge that the message is true? Your attitude is the epitome of the phrase "you are your own worst enemy"!

Yes, because I look at the messenger, question their motives and their own record, and promptly file this under the appropriate heading: Pure Iranian bullcrap propaganda. The stuff that America haters like you will tilt their head back like a turkey and swallow in one big gulp.

I was thinking the same thing. This person could come over here (forge his BC) run for office and win on that platform. It rings so true, it is sickening.

Ok I had to pick my self up off the floor after laughing. I really hope noone comes over and forges their bc and runs for office on that platform they might fool the masses and then turn on the us.

Jackass Ahmadinejad.

Is Iran free from influences?

No it's not. Iran is not even free from the Iranian regime. Iran hasn't been free from religious persecution since the Arab Muslims invaded our territories in 633 A.D.

And Ahmadinejad is helping the people who keep Iran hostage.

"America haters"... wow. How bout freedom lovers? What happened to you people over there? You used to praise the pure things in life. These days you're defending corporations, an out of control military agenda and a downright horrid treating of own citizens with your hand on your gun, ready to obliterate every friend out there trying to get you guys back on track?

You are truly lost. May God stand by you, as you let your great country slide into the abyss.

“America is no longer the land of the free. It is now ruled by oligarchs and corporatists. And it is no longer governed by the rule of law. The rich, the powerful and the politically connected abide by their own, very different, set of laws.”

Sounds about right, but then so are most western countries.

All countries are. It would be extremely ignorant to think otherwise.

At the "end" of colonial times, countries consolidated their powers through corporations. "Countries" remained but now corporations were the new front of countries with many royals at the head of these corporations.

The globalization that we are witnessing is nothing else than 21st century colonialism.

Although I agree with the premise of the OP, I can't help but laugh at the calls for revolution and all of the tyranny talk. Banks, corporations, global elitists, talking point, platitude, etc... yawn. No one on this website is going to do a damn thing about any of it.

That's not really what I'm saying at all. I'm pointing out that his sneering attitude is quite hilarious considering that his country is in a similar situation.

True enough but his country did not have the opportunity and players we have. We are supposed to be free. We brag about our individual freedom. We are losing our bragging rights. His country never knew the freedom we werer founded upon. How can you even expect them to be where we are now?

Full circle.

Even that theory surely could be seen to have deeper roots in the 'Great Game'. The containment of Russia goes back to the treaty between Russia and Persia in 1813 so Spykman's theory's were hardly something new. One can also trace our involvement in Afghanistan to the same containment theory that Conolly named the Great Game.
So I feel the deflection from oil interests profiteering under the guise of containment a little disingenuous yet not to dismiss it altogether, that would be naieve. In the politics of the time a socialist government such as Mosaddegh's would be seen as a bed-fellow of Russia, or at least vunerable.
Political theories aside in the real world it is very difficult, to my mind, since the West are invading and or meddling in the Middle East for what looks like nothing more than oil not to see those commercial strategies not having primacy over diplomatic interests.

Yes, that's partly my point. Our problems will only be solved when the protesters vastly outnumber those trying to silence them. Our problems must be solved in the individual state legislatures, through nullification of all unconstitutional federal laws and regulations, and if that still doesn't work then it's time for states to start succeeding from the union.

Instead of posting these replies about revolution. How about we discuss what we can do. Just saying it for stars does nothing.

Believe it or not, there are many militias forming in almost every state now. We need to help bring all these militia's together somehow, but I am unsure of how to even do that.

Here locally, they meet at a, well, I better not say. Anyone have any ideas for this? Or perhaps some other ways we can make change?

Of course this is simply a discussion of fiction. Nothing I say is fact.

Really? Thank you, Captain Obvious. But before he goes about sneering at the U.S., he might want to consider how little better his own country fairs in that arena.

and im sure this will keep on happening until you smarten up or go insane.

im betting on the latter. anyway carry on.

I don't hate America and I think what he says has a ring of truth, In fact it is true - we are selling out.
You can tell the American haters because when they hear news like this it makes them happy.
Americans who cherish and love their country are saddened.
Americans who live like Ostriches with their heads in the sand are naturally simply defensive and in denial.

I'll give this whole thread a little bit of advice. Nothing in this world is free. Nothing. So to expect something for nothing is childish and immature. Going to school, getting an education, working hard and making sacrifices is all it takes to make it. If that is what you consider freedom. NO ONE has taken away any of your rights away. You have the same freedoms and opportunities as anyone else. IF you think you’re so badly done to, take a vacation to almost anywhere and see how drastically different their choices and freedoms are. The local, small, narrow minded view of so many on this thread can only be summed up as "unappreciative". And as far as the rich, banksters, globalists? Most of the wealthy and successful are what they are due to hard work and sacrifice. Life liberty and pursuit of happiness is exactly that. You aren't given anything in this life except the power to live and choose for yourself, and to PURSUE what makes you happy. Outside of that, suck it up an quit the crying.

As I am sure we are debating from similar stand points I agree with you on the longevity of these games (this is where I usually start debating from) which in my mind has always been of a commercial nature.

In my opinion diplomacy and doing the right thing goes out the windows when the chance to profiteer on someone elses wealth and resources is in the equation, especially when it has the added advantage of depriving those resources from an adversarial nation (I guess that would now be China)

But I do not feel I was being disingenuous as the resource finds in the region (oil/Lithium etc) coincide with the more modern games, beforehand it was using Iran to prevent Napoleon getting at Indian resources or containing Russia for similar reasons..

While the root cause still exists, which in my opinion is a wider game to control all the resources of Eurasia, with oil being a small (but not inconsiderable) part of that.. It is a sad indictment of our species that when all the oil is gone it will be something else..

As even taking oil out of the equation Irans position at the heart of Eurasia makes her a focal point of a lot of attention, since controlling Iran makes the transportation of goods across Eurasia and Africa that much easier with all the increased profits and lower risk that infers.

The Master of the Masses
One has power
The other one lacks it
Guns are power
Controlled by assets
Owned by financial forecasters
Who are the Masters?
They are the Gangsters
They are the bankers
The ones who tax us
The Masses
They are us
The sheep, the people
Divided in classes
I go off like a #e bomb
And All ya'll see I'm on my
War paint on my face, sh**
My nine mm on my waist, sh**
I'm a problem
Shoot up your place sh**
Let a few go
Then I get low
Blazing Haze again
The Masters, The Wall Street War Chiefs
The Elitists Groups
The Masses
They pray to Jesus
Saying he will see us through
The Masters are the aristocratic
The Masses
Ask if the Most High
Is On his way here
I'm trying to stay clear
My mind is my modern day Spear

This lead into Swiss cheese
When the 5th squeeze
Mislead
The media Misleads
Scares you to the point
Where you miss sleep
With that said
This lead with this Ruger
And that shooter
Sub-machine gun
Ratta tat through you
Copper tops, hollow points
Will do ya something bad
Our future
Is Mislead
Three strikes
There's no school
When a teacher strikes
This economy
This monopoly
Get no job
Just own your property
Now it's back to
What comes natural
Must survive any how you have to
Despair, Desperation
But I have no fear
When I hold This Spear
