What are the chances that Kim wants to solidify his son's power before he dies? IF a limited war began and was ended quickly without a decisive victory for either side in a similar way to the first Korean war, status quo would be maintained for Kim's son.

Thanks. I woke up in the middle of the night, having fallen asleep very early last night, and saw this thread. I couldn't believe the answers I was reading. So I decided to look into the problem, and after the second article, it was more than evident this smelled like a False Flag operation.
I got my confirmation when I saw the pictures of Choenan, the sank boat.
Because when I look at the pictures, I think: "If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear."

I think, and that's what I was looking for at first, that the sank boat was even reported as a merchant boat. I found better and am glad that you took notice of it. It's so clumsy as a whole story... I knew next to nothing about it until I spent 2 hours last night...

I always try to look at the other side of the story. Otherwise, my opinion would become partisanerie, which, in a situation like the one presented here, would only bring discredit to what I say.

Have a nice day all! And take deep breaths!

PS: LOL I've just seen the links I provided in my previous post to images didn't work... Sorry all!

Well to many millions it's obvious that N.Korea didn't do it. They would have saw the assaulting vessel but they didn't. All they had was evidence after the fact and subsequently pieced it together. I repeat this was not N.Koreas' actions.
This is all put together by TPTB to begin a who's side are you on campaign. I'm pretty sureanother war will not make the US citizens happy even if we are not directly involved.

This is all a fasaud and it's too obvious to me

There will be no war over this - SK has too much to lose. I expect some harsh words from the UN and talk of sanctions....maybe some other symbolic stuff....but SK will NOT lose Seoul (we all know it would be destroyed) and undo all these years of becoming a modern and prosperous country, over the sinking of one ship. And that's what they SHOULD do - why drag themselves down to NK's level when their country is 100000x better

It makes me sick that this is the world we live in now. 46 SK sailors were murdered, and the response it harsh words? What about justice for the dead? Nah, just scold NK. THAT'll show 'em!

When you were a kid, and you got bullied, you were always told to punch the bully in the nose to take the fight out of him, and show him you won't be intimidated, cuz words don't work. Bullies are sociopaths. Well, when the punch in the nose is meaningless to the bully, then you get a group of folks together and you beat him to a pulp. That s%#t-stain "leader" of NK is a pathological sociopath. He's willing to starve his people and risk their lives for his ego. You can't reason with that.

SK needs to take a page out of the Isreali playbook, and stomp the crap out of KJI and his fancy army of underfed slaves. Surgical strikes at the heart of NK while the northern border of the DMZ is carpet-bombed. Enough is enough. NK will continue to murder with impunity until the international community grows a pair and puts the boots to that fool. The world shouldn't tolerate murderous regimes. NOTE: You America-haters can spare me the bleeding-heart "America is a murderous regime" craptastic replies to my previous statement, because it's a tired and hollow argument that I won't dignify with a response.

Meanwhile, if you think it's not the business of the international community to intervene in the affairs of a sovereign state, then you're naive and living in a fantasy world. NK's actions affect the entire world. Billions spent on military deterrents. Millions spent on wasted diplomatic meetings. Countless dead or kidnapped. Nuclear secrets and technology bought and sold.

It's everyone's friggin business, and when the dog is rabid, you put it down.

Wow, really!? "Too obvious" you say? Lol, all they had was EVIDENCE that had to be pieced together. What kind of EVIDENCE do you have to say that N. Korea is unresponsible for this? Are you and Aresh reading the same two or three articles on the internet that would make a reasonable person see without a doubt that this is a false flag attack?

Don't get me wrong... I'd also like to see this evidence that S. Korea has and what the other countries who were conducting the investigation found. This could be something like what you were saying or something else... or this could be what it looks like.

and we should attach you to the bomb at the same time when its dropped !

seriously anyone encoruaging , abdicating war / proxy war over this are senseless human beings who dont even deserve the title human !

the DPRK are a sovereign state , and the UN controlled by the G8 dont like it , because they dont conform to the western world and why should they , why should anyone !

simple fact if the US werent in south korean , then the DPRK would be less hostile to south korea FACT, if they never had sanctions on the DPRK then we would be hearing alot more stories of how great a nation the DPRK is because they arent being opressed by the capitalist empire !

its the same with cuba and the same with the ex soviet union , socialism works only in the absence of capitalism , however when you have a super power pressing on your back then your gonna be made out to be the nasty little dictatorship nation , why because they are going against the current system , and as such are labelled rogue / terrorist states .

the quicker the empire falls the better off this planet will be!
If the US government hadnt brain washed the west during the cold war , we wouldnt feel so threatened by socialism and socialist states!

Electric Universe I wasnt talking about satlinism under the guise of communism /socialism , I was talking about communism socialism in its pure sense!

Cuba would be a great country had the US not sanctioned it to poverty and famine since the start of the cold war! still 50 years later and the cold war is over , yet sanctions are still keeping cuba from becoming a great nation !

the DPRK is a great nation despite what the west thinks

just like you to side with the real bully !

US is the bully here , the DPRK have only asked the US leave the peninsula and return the korean peninsula to its sovereignty and to its people , however the South Korean government are quite happy to accept the payouts from the US for keeping bases in strategic areas to dominate Eurasia !

the Grand chess board tells it all !

No, the bully are people like you who want South Korea to submit to North Korea and Communism...

South Korea belongs to SOUTH KOREANS, and not to the Communists in the north...

And now North Korea might test a nuke... hopefully not over Seoul..

Here

Analysts believe that the attack on the South Korean warship may have been prompted by the current North Korean succession. Kim Jong-il is widely thought to be in the process of handing power on to his third son, Kim Jong-un. In order to cement the younger Kim's power, and control of the army, North Korea could continue to launch strikes against the South. The North is also rumoured to be considering a new nuclear bomb test.

So the North Koreans torpedoed a South Korean boat?
The SK’s have a NK torpedo fragment with serial numbers….
Let’s jump in and get some revenge here!
Something smells bad here and it’s not just the Korean countryside.
I would dig deeper before getting hasty I think.

(Edit)

Mentally join together your stern and bow pictures at the green tarp. There were 2 halves recovered. The ship was split in twain.
Look at the intact-before picture and see how long the ship is; that will help.

Ask South Koreans who they fear more, North Korea or the US. You may be surprised by the answers you get.

It's now Thursday in South Korea.

Time for the truth to come out about this act of war by North Korea.

S. Korea confirms North's torpedo sank warship

Now the generals are convened into a meeting to see what they'll do in the light of this...

Anger, frustration run deep in military over warship sinking
Lots of people in the military want revenge and maybe even war... let's hope the generals have not the same feeling...but they probably do. After all, their comrades were assassinated by the vicious North Korean regime.

But all I heard for now is : more sanctions against NKorea and the resuming of propaganda against NKorea over the DMZ, also end of cooperation except the factory they have in common on the border.

So maybe the new general meeting will change that for a more harsher tone..

N. Korea accuses South of pushing inter-Korean relations to catastrophe
Yeah who started it?

N. Korea unexpectedly calls rubber-stamp parliament into session
It seems the NKorean government is already preparing for sanctions or something... they will plan something at this emergency meeting...hopefully not war.

And the SKorean stock market is down...

What if we "made" a N.Korea replica ship exact and fired on S. Korea from N.Korea territory to start a war ?

makes you think kind...

but this is interesting ..

Interesting article from a month ago. South Korean officials said that it could have been a mine, either one planted lately or an old one from the war. Also admitted there has never been a case of the North torpedoing (is that a word?) a boat from the South. So why would the North do it now? And why sink only 1? I smell BS.

On a lighter note.....this is awful news for Starcraft players everywhere....

But jokes aside.....this could turn pretty bad...especially if larger nations become involved.

That's an excellent point, I remember when the story first broke out that is what some of the speculation was. That is could have been an old mine left from years ago.
That was a couple months ago, and at that point purely speculation. Since then, there has been an investigation made by more than one country and they've all came to the same conclusion.
