It didn't read like that at all to me. I think he's just fed up with all the different stories and conspiracies. It sounds to me like he wants all the falsity to end and for the truth to come out. Nowhere did he say he wants everyone to die or the world to end. He said he wants IT to end, right after talking about all the crazy conspiracies and doom and gloom prophecies.

That is correct which is why I said "I believe the author has made obvious mistakes in his statements" though the premise for his theory is very plausible; he has chosen the wrong terminology for his statements.
