BTW, i would really love for those who keep backing President Obama's decisions to awnser the questions i made. All you people do is dismiss all the FACTS, play the race card, and when that gets too old you label everyone who doesn't agree with President Obama's decisions as "evangelicals bible thumpers" or some other label.....

His globalist fantasies, being a citizen of the world, embarking on a destructive agenda that will bring the USA down to the level of other nations, weakening the US defenses, policies that will assure the failure of the USA...

Obama speaks to the world, he desires to lead that world...

He should have this prize.

It is not about his accomplishments, he can continue to do nothing and perhaps win even more international praise.

Good for him.

He should buy his wife a few pairs of new shoes with the prize money.

Pardon me, while I puke.

2 days, no sleep, and then seeing this thread and expecting it to be a good joke.

Obama scares me more than Bush ever did. He has a cult like following across the entire world and the media to back him up.

This has to be the most hate filled thread, 37 pages now and scarcely anything positive about this subject.

I understand that people have an inherent disgust for Obama. (for whatever reason) I don't know why he won this. But it is good for America as a whole. Getting this prize is sort of a sign of approval from the world in the American ideology.

I just don't understand why it's a bad thing.

Well, a couple of days ago I posted a reply in the topic what's your thoughts about Obama
Since I feel this might enlighten you people about the possible reason of this nomination, I'll put it here again:

As a non-American I would like to give my modest opinion about him too. To start with: Obama played a good role in lowering the hate that exists towards an America that has been arrogantly controlling and messing up international relations - and actually the whole world, for that matter - for years. Bush drove that hate to the ultimate top (Not speaking for myself, for I refuse to hate, but I must say it was hard not to).

Obama is seen (at least in Europe) as a far more sincere, intelligent and morally correct person in comparison to Bush. And I believe that’s not just due to charisma and good speeches – there’s some wisdom and common sense in his words and (some of) his deeds. I believe he is trying to change things in your country for the good – although you can’t see it yet because basically he was dropped in office while America and the rest of the world were/are a total mess. Judge his efforts in a couple of years…

And true, he isn’t doing enough, far from it – mainly because his powers are limited by dozens of other factors: his entourage, administration, economical powers, international alliances … He should have closed all illegal prisons already, backed out of Afghanistan, stand up against Israel, start constructive dialogue with Iran instead of demonizing them, abolish your so called war on terror, dismantle all nuclear warheads (or at least remove yours out of our country ) … But hey, what can you expect from an American president eh? And he’s in for what, just almost a year now?

.....

Anyway, for the outside world, America has become a little more of a friendly place since Bush is gone, but that might just be appearance, of course. Good luck y’all, try take an objective look at your president – he ain’t too bad

Without judging wether or not he deserves to receive a Nobel Prize, this last weeks opinion of mine might give you a bit more understanding of how he already did change (perception of) our world, if you look at it as a foreigner...

George W. Bush was nominated, if I'm correct. If he would have received the prize, ok, I would be astonished.

Agreed.

I'm surprised to see all the negative reactions, because if somebody did promote worldpeace, it's definitely Obama

Right because we are out of Iraq, didn't put, and are not in the process of putting, more troops into Afghanistan.

taking a new course in foreign policy.

Afghanistan was in the books since Bush Sr. Find the Wolfowitz doctrine.

Perhaps him winning the prize could also be explained as the relieved reaction after 8 years of war mongering and dividing people under Bush.

1. We still are at war. And we seem to have even more 'enemies' now... Sights on Iran, N. Korea. Just because he didn't start them doesn't mean he ended them.

2. Division? You mean like the literal resurrection of the word racism? The crackpots/anti-american war still rages on in the MSM scripted psychological war.

The problem is the powers that be continually throw the race card into the

Weople's face. When in fact this administration has tried to brainwash the

Weople that obama is America's first black president and he is not. He is the

first half white and half black president. I do not see him as black or white

and I think most of the Weople see obama the same way.

Do not let the media sway you in thinking he is the first black president and

now you know better when they throw the race card up in your face. ^Y^

Again with the "hate claims" for some strange reason?....
Stop playing the "race, and hate cards"... it is old, really...

This is not good for the United States of America... This shows President Obama is selling the Republic to the UN, and to the elites.

This shows that President Obama, and his administration are already selling the U.S. to not only the UN, but the Socialist elite...

This shows that the Obama administration is ready to allow the UN to control the Republic of the United States...

We don't need to wait two years, or more when we can see NOW what President Obama and his administration have been doig, and the Socialist dictatorship they are implementing.

How about you start reading some of the things that President Obama has done? Because it seems obvious you haven't.

Your claiming that nobody is being hateful in this thread? That is certainly a claim one can pull out of thin air.

Stop playing the "race"

Nowhere in that post of Watukno did I see any claim of "racism". Its really something to see the ones who complain about "race cards" bring it out themselves.

Why dont you stop bringing race into the matter if doesnt have anything to do with it.

This is not good for the United States of America...

This is not good for you. This is not good for rightwing america. This is politics and partisanship as usual.

Odd, I didn't say race, I said for whatever reason. I can realize that people might not have hatred for the president based on his race. They could have ideological differences, or partisan political differences, or even the fact he is a politician from Chicago.

This is not good for the United States of America... This shows President Obama is selling the Republic to the UN, and to the elites.

How? Exactly how is he selling our nation to the UN?

Ok, let's see for the last 20 or so years the United States has been the international bully on the block. Don't you think maybe it's time the United States instead of being the police force of the planet, the de-facto dictator state that it has been, instead started working like a member of the world community instead of an iron hand?

This is good for the US in my opinion. If you don't share that opinion, that is your right. But again, I didn't play the race card. If you saw it that way perhaps there is something to that. But that's not my problem.

So he got an award for being black?

You know there are lots of black people, why not at least choose someone who actually did sh*t for someone.

Wait a second...
I thought the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to those who promote peace, not to those who bash a war and then, once in office, do nothing to change the status quo...
Perhaps whoever nominated Obama thought it was opposite day?
That's the only theory I can come up with...
Either that or there's political bias afoot. *Gasp!*

i thought my last post would be my last reply, but i see that regardless of this man's statistics he will be a god. i am sorry but this man has done nothing for the american people or for any country for that matter. i just hope the text books years from now, way after i am dead and gone, give him the the credit he is due. which is he did absolutely nothing. let me rephrase that for every one, one more time FOR THE OBAMA STICK LICKERS, HE HAS DONE NOTHING FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. MY DOG HAS MORE charisma THAN THIS MAN.
i am sickened. that this post keeps going on with, obama deserved it. the skeptics keeps saying this or that, but no real proof. he is a shill, and should of given up the trophy as it is now a worthless piece of metal that will never mean a thing!!!

I hate to say it but. Okay. They guy may not be the sharpest tool in the shed. But hes accually proposing healthcare for people, he accually said "I will lend a hand to you if you unclench your fist" to basically everyone in the middle east and including north korea i would assume. So yes, i believe he has good intentions.

Now you turn on the news channel, and what do you hear. Bibbly babbly pundit crud and its accually made the news more infuriating for me than the show jeapardy with all of its annoying music. The basis of the news and their claims? WHAT BASIS!? WE LEARNED ABOUT A MOON ROCKET EXPERIEMENT THE NIGHT IT WAS HAPPENNING. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THe news is full of people trying to make him look bad. Granted, some of his cabinet are not the best to have chosen, but that honest to god, really is out of his hands more than you think right away, give it a little thought, it is accually pretty true. Pillossi or that treasury guy, well heck. Thats honestly something that if you tried to change, how many high dollar assassins would go after you? And that is the BEST case scenario. Now adays they would just beam radiation from towers directed at his family members if he refused to cooperate and only tell him that after he was innogurated. Honestly i dont know how true all of that is. But you know what,. Wouldnt suprise me.

YEAH Yassir arahfat (forgive the spelling) was a ONE IN FIFTYTHOUSAND chance of getting chronical death fitting cancer. Annnnnnnd well. he got it. Point out some others.
Sorry if im off topic here but i have to ask this one question.

Why bilderberg?
HAVE YOU NEVER HEARD OF "ROTHSCHILDS"

NOBEL peace prize? didnt expect them to give it to him. But maybe those people have a good idea of what hes trying to do. Maybe 2012 or whatever really is not the end of the world. maybe its the begining of a slow to come end? maybe its 202012 (year 2hundred - 2 thousand and twelve ) =joke=

The point is. I frankly think there are better people to lead the country than obama. But ive got to give in here and say this. Hes not a bad guy. The nobel prize? Wellllllllll maybe some nations where their neighboring countries are rioting instead of laying down in the street to block traffic (Kthnx dont let the ambulance save the good man down the road having a heart attack ) okay holdon. im going to say it. Hippies. OUR country watches hippies humiliate themselves on TV and other countries see this too. What do other countries do when fed reserve types starve them? They riot, set fire, loot, maim and kill. Martin Luther King is DEAD. his ways WORKED VERY WELL at the PARTICULAR TIME he used them. But this is a differrent time and the clock is just ticking away. Americans (not all but a lot) dont know how to turn off Fox or CNN or whatever they watch, step outside, say hi to a neighbor, and just observe with their own eyes. Think with their OWN mind. Not someone elses bestowment upon their minds. Propaganda is a soft word for what americans live and see every day. It honestly to god, already is full out exploitation of the mind. Freedom has BEEN GONE. now people sit and bicker about which part of which ammendment or right or freedom is being DEBATED. (in america) now from the words of that japanese guy who bombed pearl. but in my own words. This is not a giant thats about to be woken up, its a self destructive killing machine. and thats accually what they want to wake up. Our resolve is lost, at least 50 percent of the people watch the news and believe it. Its gone. something worse will happen.
Congradulations to our President on his nominatino for the nobel prize and i wish him the best, and i wish you all the best.

A lot of people seem to be under the spell of this man. Its very, very strange.

I agree it was a great step for America to have a black president, but the peace price? Thats a very strange thing to give to the leader of a country involved in constant wars across the globe.

But I guess its because he has so much charisma. I see people following complete morons because they have charisma (Obama is not a moron however). For some reason, it overshadows everything. Perhaps its the world we live in today that have made people that way. People want someone to come along and tell them everything is going to be OK, and I guess Obama fits that safe father figure image.

People are so easily manipulated. Bush played the Evildoer, Obama plays the Rescuer.

... I was unfortunate enough to be awake and watching TV when it happened... I was watching the BBC and sat there for a minute with an, I'm sure, very comical, WTF look on my face before I turned off the TV in disgust.

I'm sorry but what has Nobama done aside from apologize for crap that America did YEARS ago and drive us deeper into debt?

Freaking GHANDI never got a noble peace prize and they give one to that... *omitting language the mods wouldn't like here*!!!

I know NObama has a freaking love-affair with Europe but that is INSANE!!!

...I swear if he didn't come from the wrong region to be the Anti-christ...
