If I was offered a Nobel peace prize I would reject it.

I wouldn't associate myself someone who is apart of the war mongering and condoles war.

I had a good laugh today. But the sad reality I see way beyond what others see. He is what hes assigned to be. As for what he is and what's hes doing I cannot say. This game will continue right until the final day comes

My last post on this.

I can not believe how the American people, well the world has fallen to their knees for this joker. I have seen nothing from him that is different, the new boss is the same as the old.

Do you think it is possible that obama could donate 1.4 million dollars toward

the fuel costs it will cost the U.S. tax payers for him to fly overseas to receive

the nobel peace prize? Will the first lady fly a separate plane overseas for

the honors? ^Y^

Chicago thug politics comes to a head (with all due respects to the sleaze bag controllers in the background.) Take a bow, fellas. This is how the beginning of the end looks, folks. Drink it in.

And then complain about her sacrifice right? Ignoring the sacrifice of all the american soldiers who are still in Iraq past the the date Obama said he would have the troops out by.

That in itself infuriates me soooo much. Why? Because I can just picture my grandfather, a WW2 vet, screaming his lungs out in heaven, wondering what in the world have we been doing? He sacrificed a whole lot more than Obama can never imagine, he earned his title as a hero. Then to have to see this schmuck get it is completely asinine.

Honestly, I think this was a smart move on the Nobel comittee. Why? I'll tell you.

Now, Obama has it embedded in his head that he's the "Peaceinator"™ of today. Now he'll have it on his mind any time he has to make a decision. I believe this will make him think twice about what he does in N. Korea, Iran, whatever it may be.

Who knows, maybe he really did deserve it. Apparently the general public outside of ATS approves of it.

What do I think? I honestly don't know, I don't keep too close tabs on the man. I don't even know what his general intentions are.

Just wanted to get my 2 cents in on this thread.

As well intentioned as that may be. Someone else pointed out here as well, that they too gave the peace prize to Arafat, that didn't turn out too well, what exactly would make them think it would work again?

By that logic, should we start giving out prizes to N. Korea, China, Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, a host of African countries ruled by dictators.... in the hopes that maybe they'll "think twice" and start thinking like a "Peaceanator"? I don't know, it sounds like really flawed (and if true) really stupid logic, by part of the committee. Maybe they should take a time out, drink their juice and take a nappy nap, instead of trying to influence something that is obviously out of their control.

I believe the public that elected obama was thinking the same thing when

they voted him into office. Your [Quote] I don't keep too close tabs on the

man. I don't even know what his general intentions are. ^Y^

This wasn't saying all Obama supporters are Obamabots. There are Obamabots, Bushbots, McCainbots, etc... Anyone with a 'bot' at the end are the people that will support any particular person no matter what they do. Defend them and support them at all costs no matter what. There are 'bots' on both sides.

Sounds like a futile hope

Yes, but now he doesn't have to do anything to try to earn it since it was handed to him. I think it's a loss for not only the world, but for Obama too. That's like giving somebody a trophy or award for cheating. It doesn't mean as much if it isn't earned.

/me stares at Benevolent Heretic

Buy a new hush-it-under-the-carpet man?

He's a politician, thats all I know, and thats all I need to know. If he were the PM of Australia, it would buy him a new clock for his office or something really important.

You know I believe they named the Nobel Peace Prize wrong for obama it

should be the Nobel Piece Prize. In other words obama gets a piece of the

action of what ever the NWO wants him to have. 1.4 million dollars is not a bad

start even though he will donate this money to his favorite organization.

obama did not vote for himself to receive this award the 5 members that hide

their vote for 50 years did. Should obama have received this award? You be the

judge because folks you think he has been judged these last 8 months the

world will be watching every move to see if he deserved such an honor. ^Y^

My purpose in defending Bush here and there and Obama here and there is not thread/topic-specific but borne from the understanding that the moment a President takes office nowadays, 70% of the world already hate him. Half of those people for him being American, and the other half for him being of the other party.

I would like to hang around and actually explore the pros and cons of him getting a Nobel Prize, but its difficult with all the indignant shouting around by people who always shout around no matter what the topic.

Noone was shouting, as far as i read this thread.

In a way you are right, once a President is elected there are those who don't like that President because of what he stands for.

But the thing is what has President Obama done that is good?

I don't care that he is black, and all those people who voted for him just because of the color of his skin are wrong. You shouldn't be voting for a person because of the color of his skin, but rather because of the issues he/she is trying to, and wants to implement.

I say the same thing about Sotomayor, and she is hispanic just like me, but many hispanics, and more so young children, and young adults, but this includes many adults hispanics just love her for no other reason than because she is hispanic. But if you look at her decisions in court, and the statements she has been making in the past, she is the wrong choice for the supreme court. At least for the United States Republic Supreme Court.

The same thing is happening with President Obama.

How can President Obama, and his administration really care for the people when they wasted more money than ANY other administration in the inauguration of a President of the United States? And at a time when EVERYONE knew that the United States has been in a deep economic crisis, and making this wasteful spending just for "PRIDE" in these times is JUST WRONG.

I am not yelling when i put certain words in caps, i am just trying to emphasize a point.

And that was in the first days of President Obama being in office.

Does that tell you that President Obama, and his administration care for the american people, who have been suffering and have been losing jobs like there is no tomorrow?

What about the whole Greek/Roman temple thing? Back then those people who were in power were seen as almost the equals of the Gods, and Godesses.

What point was the Obama administration trying to make with that whole setup?

Then there is the fact that we even have President Obama himself on video, responding to an old american lady that "she might be better continuing to take the pill, which are made by big Pharma, rather than have the treatments, or operations which DOCTORS think could help her" and there are still people claiming that President Obama, and his entire administration care for the American people?....

Not to mention the fact that Obama was caught red handed making deals with Big Pharma to stop Congress from trying to lower the cost of prescription drugs, among other things.

Then again there are several other issues, such as the fact that President Obama himself signed into law a bill, H.R. 1388, in which he puts "the Corporation" in charge over all learn base/educational programs, as well as Community Service, which includes MANDATORY Community Service.

For now those who will be in one way or another FORCED to participate in this includes children starting from secondary school through college.

Then anyone from 18-25 will have to do at least 3 months military training, and 100 hours of Community Service no matter if they are single parents, if they are going to college and, or are holding a couple of jobs just to get through, and you won't get paid for this service, not to mention that you will have no choice in the matter.

In the bill there is even a secton in which it states this corporation is also in charge of a "centralized electronic citizenship verification system," and we all know what that means.

President Obama has broken MOST promises he made before he was President. He has not brought back our troops, in fact there are more toops in the Mittle East, such as the National Guards, who have had the largest deployments in several state's history, and for the rest of the states the deployments have been the largest since WWII.

Are we on WWIII or something without most of us knowing that we had to send so many troops to the Middle East?

What else has President Obama done? nationalized GM, and made the U.S. government in charge of it, and gave a portion of it to Canada. Was that good?

Or the fact that President Obama stated on live tv that certain CEOs of what USED to be a PRIVATE company should be fired, and then he went on to order what sort of cars automakers should be making.... Was that good?

What about the so called stimulus bill? giving millions of dollars to RICH people meanwhile more, and more Americans kept, and keep losing jobs.
Was that good?

Now they are talking about a SECOND stimulus package, and you think that is "going to help the people"?

Make no mistake, President Obama, and his administration are only consolidating power for the elite, and NONE of this is going to help the people.

So please do tell us what good thing he has done.
