Its funny how all you people who are so quick to criticise the op for labelling the many for a "few bad apples" do the exact same thing, you go and cite a few internet videos from a minority.

But heres the differance, you are in their country. You are the aggressor. How many innocent people have died for these wars? How many innocent people have suffered? Do you actually not want to see it end?

Often, the truth lies somewhere between the two stories. Keep in mind, this is reported abuse by this tearful detainee. Reported. Did it happen? I don't know, but I won't fully accept it until and unless an investigation is done. Our enemies in that part of the world know what PSYOP is, also.

If it is shown to have happened, IMO the ones that did it should be prosceuted. The United States does not have to stoop to this sort of torture to extract information. Has it happened? Yes, and again, prosecute those involved. There are certainly people in the US and any Army that aren't too stable. They need to removed from the system. Does it happen every time it has been reported to have happened? I highly doubt it.

I was the First Sergeant of a Tactical PSYOP Company in the US Army for 3 1/2 years. We had interrogators as part of the unit; they could talk you out of your underwear. I don't believe we need to do things like torture to get the information we need.

I do, however, think that you may need to go further than the norm to extract information when the lives of your own people are at an immediate risk. Those cases should be few and far between. Sexual abuse though? No, never.

I don't have a problem with an enemy combatant THINKING some of these terrible things may happen to him, THINKING the German Shepard is going to eat his gonads, THINKING the guy in the next cell is being beat.

I can't believe that on a website such as this one, people would still be pointing fingers at the innocent brainwashed individuals(who by the way are put there to distract) who suffer the most. Well if it's the only way to get information then so be it. I don't like it when a person get's raped, but if it means saving the life of millions of people then so be it. Just remember it were me doing the torture I would use their religion against them. I would use all this to my advantage. Can't touch pork, then I would have a pig in the room with me. So before you say it's wrong, remember they do this or you, your family, everyone you know could end up dead one day because of these scum bags, all because you disagree with getting information any way possible.

It's f****** disgusting we have our usual crew of do-gooders supporting terrorists.

I couldn't give a flying flip (to put it nicely), yeah if I bumped into a terrorist that wanted to hurt/harm/kill/torture anyone then of course I'd make him pay for it.

I'd rape someone stupid if they wanted to hurt my family... sorry but if people are willing to give it then they should be willing to take it.

It's this soft attitude thats allowing half of the crimes to be committed in the first place.

I was a victim of child rape, not molestation, RAPE, when my sister and I were 5 and 6 years old and it went on for about a year or so. I don't wish the same on the S.O.B.

I think I would be able to know how I would feel if someone did this to someone I know or myself.

Take a chill pill, it'll be okay.

The only crimes I'm hearing about are by those doing all the "defending of America." How is it again, that some 15-year-old's from Iraq -- a nation that has never attacked America, is the battleground for our principles?

What exactly do we win, if we lose anything that is decent in America?

I think we should do everything to actually investigate who attacked us on 9/11 -- we should have put more effort in going after the few culprits, rather than blasting whole nations in an effort to impress them. I'm not condoning torture or sodomy or anything, but its the facts, the bleeding hearts don't have the stomach to realize bad stuff is going to happen whether it is legal or illegal.

Every time a story comes out such as this one and they see people get in an outrage because of it, it's just another tool of propaganda for them use to recruit more people to do their biding.

Just the way it is, these tactics are thousands of years old and they still are just as effective today as they were when they were first drew up. You have to have the spine to look past the incident and have the people dealt with accordingly.

My understanding is the individual in the article is not a terrorist having been released to tell his story.

Of course you could argue that he should have been raped because he is a "f**ken mongrel", in which case you wouldn't mind having his kin folk make their way to New Zealand or where ever for a bit of payback?

This argument of torturing someone for information to save loved ones is merely an excuse to do unspeakable things to people.

Prisoners being sodomized shows how sick the right-wing have become.
