House passes Pelosi's climate change bill
thehill.com
The House on Friday passed a monumental climate change bill, giving Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) one of the biggest victories of her Speakership
and answering a call from President Obama to let the United States play a leading roll in reducing greenhouse gasses.
The bill passed with 219 votes, just enough for passage. Forty three Democrats voted against the bill and eight Republicans voted for it.

This Bill passed by ONLY 7 VOTES! Guess what, EIGHT Republicans voted for it, so THEY made the difference today in its actual passage. I cannot
believe these sell out politicians, ESPECIALLY the worst of the worst, the sell out Republican crew.
Let us all hope that the Senate has more of their senses about them as opposed to their Lower House brethren!

This is the final nail in the coffin for the US economy.
The next 3 generations will be spending a huge portion of their disposable income on energy costs. Jobs will be lost, not gained, as Obama and Pelosi
claimed, and more companies will now exit the US for countries that do not have cap and trade laws.

Two identical threads at the same time!
I'll just cut and paste my comments here, too.
There goes the ball game. Let me see, Obama has been in office since 20 Jan, and he's managed to pretty much destroy the economy of the US in that
short period of time.
Obama the worse President in US history? I think he's shaping up to be just that. Probably be the last one in our history, too, since there won't be
a US to be president of after he's finished with us.

This, piece of trash, has just brought down the greatest country in the world;....flame away because I don't care! But any of you who thinks this is
a great, wonderful thing will have a nasty surprise waiting for you behind door #2...
go ahead...I dare you ...open it up and tell me what you find ...later on when the full force of what has just transpired has hit you in the
face...
This, is a travesty.

Professor, you are exactly correct. This was a concealed TAX.
I swear to God, they're getting mighty clever when it comes to implementing taxes.
We'll be up to an 80% EFFECTIVE tax rate in another six months at the rate things are going.
Just what I always wanted.
A government job without the benefits.

Just wait until Obama's BS healthcare program is passed.
We are really getting screwed by this man and his buddies.
The only people that will be making money off this climate tax are going to be his buddies in Congress. How many did they say will actually profit
from this crap?

Prof.Maybe we all should go on the public dole. That way the Government can end up paying it's own carbon taxes.

I'm waiting for a state to leave the union so I can go live somewhere without the federal government telling me what type of energy efficient windows
I will soon be required to have. Everyone with half a brain knows that global warming is bunk, NASA even admitted it. This bill passing is just even
more proof of how much we need a new government.
Maybe this will be what finally wakes people up when they can't afford to run their heater anymore and they freeze half to death or something .

Joy!! Yay!!
Well we still have the Senate for it to get through, but I don't really have much hope. I don't even know what is going to happen. Hopefully people
will wake the hell up after the taxes of this hit them.
They keep pushing this country closer to a revolt.

The bill still has to get past the Senate. Get the word out, contact your Senators. This bill must die. Nobody even had time to read it!! How can they
pass a bill when they don't even know what's in it?
If this passes the Senate, it will be the beginning of the end of the American economy.

Seems like every week for the past six months, I've been bent over for a good rooting from one Obama/Pelosi/Reid initiative after another.
Just when you think you can stand upright and stretch your back . . .

You're right. Once we get up to 100%, we'll have them right where we want them.
Who said slavery was abolished. We have become slaves of the socialist, left-wing Obama/Democratic administration. King Barry now has 300,000,000
serfs.
I can only hope that people listen to King Barry and volunteer- volunteer to join their local militia.
