The House on Friday passed a monumental climate change bill, giving Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) one of the biggest victories of her Speakership and answering a call from President Obama to let the United States play a leading roll in reducing greenhouse gasses.
The bill passed with 219 votes, just enough for passage. Forty three Democrats voted against the bill and eight Republicans voted for it.

This is the final nail in the coffin for the US economy.
The next 3 generations will be spending a huge portion of their disposable income on energy costs. Jobs will be lost, not gained, as Obama and Pelosi claimed, and more companies will now exit the US for countries that do not have cap and trade laws.
We'll be up to an 80% EFFECTIVE tax rate in another six months at the rate things are going.
