I'm still trying to find the dems who voted yes.

If the Prof would be so kind to list them so we also know who to vote against too. Or a linky, it would be appreciated.

As I read this thread, I wonder where all the Obama supporters are at? Where are all the ATS members who were going on and on about how Obama is going to be "hope and change" for the future?

Hmmm...I wonder how that Marxism is treating them now?

Those Obama supporters are probably busy trying to figure out how they're going to be able to afford and additional $150 plus to their current utility bills.

Great job guys! That Obama's the man all right!

The best part? He's picking your pockets clean - just like he's picking our pockets clean.

Now. All I have to do is figure out how to go on welfare, get food stamps, housing supplemental, Medicare, low income housing, and all the other things that Obama's MAIN supporters are getting.

www.yahoo.com

But Rep. John Boehner, the House Republican leader, used an extraordinary one-hour speech shortly before the final vote to warn of unintended consequences in what he said was a "defining bill." He called it a "bureaucratic nightmare" that would cost jobs, depress real estate prices and put the government into parts of the economy where it now has no role.

And what roll would that be

Dooper, here is how you go about that. Throw away your citizenship, go to Mexico, then sneak back across the US border as an illegal alien. You're get free medical coverage, schooling for your kids, a job, food stamps, and you'll be registered to vote by ACORN. All you have to do is PROMISE to vote for Obama and the socialists in future elections.

Thanks!

Oh man, I don't have anybody to vote out. Which I guess is a good thing. I think we should take up a collection and rent billboards out and list the names of the people that vote for bills without reading them.

Perhaps you had no idea of what was included in this bill and why most Obama supporters are probably having parties? Hidden in this bill is a direct transfer of wealth from your pocket to the pockets of anyone earning under 150% above the poverty line; certified as having lost “purchasing power”, a minimum of 150.00 will be direct deposited to their accounts EACH MONTH. PLUS increased unemployment benefits for all those loosing jobs because of this legislation! Yes, Robin from the Hood Obama is taking from the ‘rich’ (anyone who is above 150% of the poverty line) and giving to his supporters!

Still think its not time for a good old revolution?

I just sent a scathing letter to the rep from my district. I won't call him *my* rep, since he voted for this piece of crap.

My Senate votes will be split along party lines. Let's hope the Senate stops this travesty.

For those who are represented by the republican reps that voted for this, let them know your displeasure, And vote them out next time around.

So now Obama has his paws into:

Insurance

Auto

Banking

Energy

What's left? Health care.

The reason Obama was elected was because of the complicity of the MSM and even many on ATS. Back in July, I posted the following thread:
www.abovetopsecret.com...
The title was:
Do we really want to elect a Communist?

After 235 replies, the thread was closed by a complaint that it was bashing Obama.

Now, I ask - Was it bashing Obama, or was it just trying to get the truth out?

I leave it up to the members to decide for themselves. Every single fact that I posted on that thread was backed up by solid references.

I think that recent events have confirmed that indeed, we have elected a communist, who has done in 5 months, what the Soviet Union could not do in 70 years, destroy our free, capitalist economy, and enslave 300,000,000 Americans.

The Republicans that voted for it, are nothing but whores receiving money from those that will benefit from another raping of the nations citizens.

At least mine state didn't vote it for it so far.

I hope they stay that way.

Our corrupted politicians are really bringing this nation to the ground while they fatten their dirty pockets with interest money.

Pelosi needs to go we need to vote her out and this is not a political party thing this is an American emergency all of us.

One thing for certain, Obama isn't good for this country and he's showing it on a daily basis. Everything he's doing is completely against any sort of economic stimulus, yet everyone thinks the sun is still shining out of this man's ass.

She didn't have to use much to buy the votes she needed:

"Pelosi plied undecided members with chocolate-covered Dove bars in a series of small group meetings. White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel worked the phones, and administration officials whipped members at a White House luau Thursday night. "

www.politico.com...&D

I wonder where the money for those Dove bars and that frakin' luau came from?

This, is a travesty.

Death - destruction - poverty and being a slave to the gov't. Did I guess correctly?

This law pretty much proves to me that a whole bunch of congress are traitors. We need to remove them from office, repeal the law and have the lot of them tried for treason against there fellow Americans. I suspect I'll be unemployed in a year because of this.

Yes, unfortunately, a large majority of the people in this country let the MSM do their thinking for them. Just give them a 6-pack, a boob tube, and a few bucks of their own money back, in the form of a stimulus, and they're happy.
Turn up the heat slowly, and they stay in the pot until it's too late. They'll cooked and they don't even know it. Stick a fork in the economy. It's done.

I'm thinking it's time to take the paperwork down to the embassy and give up mu US citizenship. I love my country but I love my family more and I don't want to have my family sucked down by my country. If I have to choose I guess my country looses.

Who is benefiting from the pork in this bill?

Global warming bill becomes another Washington porkfest

big businesses and their well-connected lobbyists are lining up with the hope of getting rich off these regulations.

Edison Electric Institute. U.S. automakers, soon to be controlled in part by the labor unions who so generously fund the Democratic Party, are also among a handful of likely beneficiaries of this legislation.

www.climatechangefraud.com...

Interesting that the electric utility industry’s political action committees contributed $12.3 million to candidates last election.

Last quarter, the Edison Electric Institute spent $2.6 million on lobbying

The sad thing is that the climate change is a natural occurrence and nothing is going to stop it, but is not stopping for those in government to profit from moronic laws like this one.

We're going to need a constitutional amendment to undo all this legislation. By the time any decent politicians get around to overturning any of this stuff the corruption will be so deep and rooted that will be the only way to get rid of it all.

This makes my stomach churn.
