it slays me that the whole time he was campaigning with his eloquent speeches about transparency he was hiding all this stuff. now, as president, he can look you in the eye (well the camera's eye) and tell you he is being absolutely transparent in between his closed door meetings and secret deals.

Many people have written that this is sour grapes because "our" guy lost, personally, the guy I wanted to run didn't, so I voted libertarian. I just want this guy to be honest, at least 10% honest. I know there is no politician on either side of the aisle that could recognize the truth if it came up and *pooped* on their desk.
This goes far beyond just a birth certificate and transparency.
If they can get away with this, what else are they planning? What else do they have in the works to ruin what was once a strong nation?

Gibbs gave the wrong answer, and the Fox reporter failed to challenge that.

Gibbs is a damn idiot arrogant fool to demand that concerned citizens believe that an unsealed laser printed non-birth certificate document be accepted as prima facie evidence that Soetoro was born in the US.

If this is the Number 1 issue at Fox News (and it should be), then why isn't it recently posted to their website?

Republican Governor Linda Lingle has sold out to the Barry Soetoro regime. She locked/impounded, whatever piece of paper exists on file in Hawaii. I realize the law issue, but honestly I think that should be looked into for being repelled. I think if someone from any country has what it takes and meets the other criteria then why should there country of origin matter? They obviously care enough about their non native country to run for office so...

I mean I see where some might think the person is going to destroy the US in some "secret plan to take office and destroy the nation" but that is what CHECKS AND BALANCES are for.

the problem is, if this law is irrelevant and doesn't need to be followed, what law does? all laws then become optional. these are the rules we play by. it isn't up to one person to circumvent a law of eligibility just because he finds it inconvenient. of course that's what we are learning about the obama administration. following laws is optional. i'm thinking of the government involvement in the banking industry but even more the government takeover of the auto industry. checks and balances are out the window.

It is obvious something in this milk is not cream! If the BC is no big deal show it. What is not clear is why they are hiding it. Some secret that may embarrass someone? Mom was not married to Obama Sr, no father listed, or some other thing of that nature? Maybe he was born in Kenya, and if so he should not be POTUS, period!

What is more fascinating is this big cover on his education. We knew about Georgy and his terrible school history but the big O has it all sealed????? During my time as a supporter of this guy, I had no idea his records were sealed or of the vast coverup concerning this birth certificate...frankly at the time I though the BC stuff was about as reputable as the stupid "Obama is a Jihadist" emails my republican mother was sending me. That's not a fair statement. Some laws with time need to be altered or taken away. Not all, but some. It isn't fair to say just because that law was repealed then that means I can go murder someone, it isn't logical.

I'm confused. If a law is repealed, then it no longer has to be obeyed. if a law is in place, then our country is based on obeying those laws. the natural born citizen as eligibility requirement for president is still in place. i'm not saying any law cannot ever be repealed, but even then usually you have to obey it up to the minute it is repealed. this eligibility law is still in place. so why shouldn't any person who wants to be a candidate respect and obey it? especially someone who touts himself as a constitutional scholar? isn't that what obama lectured on at U of Chicago? I do remember reading that he had a law firm looking into the eligibility issue a few years ago.

the mainstream media did the citizens of this country a big disservice by ridiculing and dismissing these issues so that they were not answered before the election when they should have been.

Well, for whatever it is worth, I think he was born in Canada. Stanley's parents sent her to an unwed mother's home there, and she visited her friend in Seattle on the way back to Hawaii.

I am not saying the CURRENT LAW IN PLACE should not be obeyed. Gosh, why do people twist words? I think that it should be followed until and IF it is ever repealed. This is why I like the UFO forums so much better, you can never make anyone happy on these political threads.
