or Joe lives in society where education is seen as a basic human right and everyone no matter where they are from has access to the same levels of education and therefore all people have a level playing field.

If the free market truly was free then this would be the scenario that all people could start from.

True communism demands that you take responsibility for society by placing democracy in your hands - it demands that you are responsible for the leadership of your life.

Again you need to do your research and not compare autocratic socialist states to true communism

hey guy im for marxism what i said is that this is how the new system should be based more on ability than credibility. now what needs to be done is we must take the basic tenants of life and base all rules around this and once there is a finalized list that everyone on the planet can agree with we enact these rules and they are never allowed to be amended. and will be guarded by those that deem themselves trustworthy

Thats a pretty stupid answer yourself there.. there are no medical programs at community colleges.....and trying to rank up scholarships while going there sounds easy.. in the end you never get enough to cover the expenses.... of going to medical school

That wouldn't be a very free market if I or others have to finance others through school.

thats exactly the point i am trying to get across.... look even if joe gets his scholarships he still has to try MUCH harder then the other rich ivy league kid... even though joe is more intelligent... does this really make sense?? you are calling me out on a technicality there yes joe could goto Community college and maintain a super high gpa... but does the rich ivy league joe have to do this???? the answer is NO my point in all of this is not that joe is unable too go too medical school.. its just that joe has to be nearly perfect in his studies in order to do so.. while ivy leage joe parties all day and night and barely studies the other joe works his but off.....why???? in the end because of MONEY

Its a freer market because everyone has a level playing field and not have advantages just because they were lucky enough to be born into the right family.

All of humanity should have the basic rights of

a) Food and water
b) a home
c) education
d) medical care
e) freedom of choice.

Under our current systems no one has these rights - these rights are determined by where and to whom you are born.

Its a travesty of our current society that 10% of the world own 85% of the wealth.

I would gladly finance out of my taxes all of the above human rights.

i agree 100%! I go to an expensive graduate school and I see kids with no work experience at all driving BMWs while I had to work hard my entire life to get to the point of going there. Its extremely frustrating and its nice to know others see this side of the debate as well

I agree! An American dream would be that of a life with no television, cable or other brainwashing methods.

It would be about real food that my family and I grew outside with non GMO reuseable seeds, and without anyone coming and giving me a hard time about it. Off the grid water (well) and (solar, wind) power.

My family and I having the choice to worship the religion of our choice without anyone coming to the door and trying to change that. It would involve owning livestock and the ability to hunt whatever I want and whenever I want.

The ability to own as many guns and rounds that I need to provide for my family and protect them.

To be able to buy and trade anything at all without being tracked and watched every step of the way! To own a home outright and never owe another cent once it is paid off.

It would be about home schooling and teaching my child without the influence of bad teachers, pressure of destructive peers and Government ideaology. To teach them a trade from an early age and let them know the facts about how this Nation was founded and the truth about our God given rights and Liberty.

It would be a life away from community disease and viruses and where we were not forced to take vaccines. Where our natural immune system that God gave us would fight off any infection itself.

A dream would be a life without my street, address and satellite photos are not posted all over the internet for anyone to just pull up and look at.

A world where people actually care about each other and trade what is needed. A world where people trade needed knowledge about trade and survival.

But that would all be to easy! That would all be the way our creator intended us to live and that goes against the Government grain.

SAD

How far we have come from what should have been

Wow, I must have been Amish in my past life - that or I was just a free man. LOL

You seem to be redefining freedom. I always thought that it meant something like "free from coercion".

Your fifth right, freedom of choice - does that apply to me choosing whether or not to finance all the other "rights"?

I still don't see why I am morally responsible for upholding others.

If you truly believe in freedom then its your duty to allow others to have the same freedoms you enjoy.

If not then you believe in evolutionary politics where only the fit survive - this is akin to many fascist ideals

Everyone in Europe pretty much has access to free healthcare - I don't see Europe being full of lazy people - that is such an uninformed argument

FOX news said there is more terrorists in Europe, so maybe thats why there are more lazy people... But the point is we is Americans and we don't need more lazy people, they is lucky to make minimum wage. I mean if you want something you need to work for it and if you don't you mite become terrorist from the lazyness.

I don't take pain pills, just because I watch real news doesn't mean I do drugs!
If you support lazyness then likely you support terrorists, they go hand in hand.
BTW the way I rarely even take asprin let alone oxymoran... Liberals...

Why go from one extreme to the other...there is also the middle ground. The best system is social democracy, i.e. free market mixed with social care.

The countries with the highest standard of living are those that have social democracy.

US in 15th place:

An oxymoron is a contradiction in terms, i.e. Fox News - meaning that Fox news is known to be an organisation that gets some many things wrong and as such is not treated by most people as a credible news source.
