No problem.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I'll go back to the Thread that assists.
Sorry to all.

Nono, don't feel bad.....it's hard to do it right for me, too....I have to work at it, slowly....
If you use the small "this post" button next to the date and stars, and copy that link, then paste it into your index entry, it works. You're technically doing it fine, it's just the link you're posting in is the same one from page 60 rather than the link to your new entries.

Masqua has it under control, though. He's gonna edit your post for us.
I feel bad now, BIAD.....
You certainly are a tremendous artist and a great writer.....facts that are far more important than c/p issues.
I admire your talent immensely....
please forgive me?

Any and all edits required are just a pm away.

Immediate if I'm online and actually paying attention rather than blankly staring at the screen.

Thanks for the advice, I've explained it to BIAD and he has put down the
willow branch and ceased his self-flagellation... the strange thing was that
he kept on singing 'Gimme that ole' time religeon' -as he did it!?

He's now relaxing in a bath of blamange and watching his favourite movie...
Clint Eastwood in FireFox.

Oh Lawks...

Thank you Masqua, you're a diamond.
BIAD has promised to email you a photo of him and
his 'special' friends. I'm sorry, I tried to talk him out of it.

Them rooskies and their blasted advanced avionics! All I ever managed to steal from 'em was stuff that didn't work - even when you whacked it a good one! I believe the MIG-25 was called the "FOXBAT", and it's only logical that they name a MIG-28 a FireFox, now isn't it? Those were actually NATO code names, rather than what them rooskies called them - and both the NATO "FIREFOX" and the MIG-28 were fictional at the time. Pretty mean flying for a bird that didn't exist. You could say it was... unreal...

When I'm posting to the index thread, I usually go back to my last post and quote it, then copy and paste and change the relevant details, then post it. At least twice now, I've forgotten to change the story post link, and had to go back and edit after I clicked on it to make sure it worked.

You ain't by yourself. Details, details... if I don't get bogged down in details, I miss stuff.

Pandora is supposedly on her way there as well, from the Cave of Enchantment, thinking Neno is there.

This multiple personality disorder of neno's could be handy - what's Pandora to do when she finds THREE nenos!

Meanwhile the Splitter has Gaia's jewels

That just sounds... wrong... somehow ... on about a dozen different levels!

Sorry about all my brain cramps lately - being laid up has taken it's tole. Anyway. The Green Man was in the cave in the satchel. Chum and Carpet didn't find it. Neno did? I can't remember. For the life of me I keep forgetting where that thing is.

Also - the Tumblers - where are they? Still waiting around the corner somewhere from where the funeral is? I don't care about the direction - just wondering if they're still there.

I'm in the midst of a relapse - from pneumonia, to walking, back to just plain old pneumonia again (how the docs make the differentiation I've no idea) - but I promise to get back on the information horse and rise it well once I can get back on my feet again.

Thanks so much in advance... I hate having to ask but if I can't ask friends...

Good Day all...

PS - If the Green Man is still back in that cave Pip, Silo and at least Carpet will be going for it and letting you all go on ahead wherever it is you're going. Then we'll head back to Ship.

Hmmm....I thought Sslar picked up the satchel, before Ben and Neno parted company.
What cave?

I'm rather lost also....
I don't remember the Dragon Cave at all, but it's where the Caliburn was found, right?

The first two Tumblers are waiting there where they landed, by the compound, and are staffed by Drake and Corky (I think those are their names). T3, Cecilia, has taken Adam, Squibbs, and Skinny, to Gert's hut.

So, you can still get back to ship in either of the other two, but I don't know if Ship is online with them as well, or just with Cecilia. Ship reopened communications with Cecilia to urge Adam to get the Gert's hut, so he did.

Honey, I'm so sorry you're not feeling well...
It will take a long time to get back to full strength. WEEKS, if not a couple of months or more.
No worries...just be careful with my friend Silo13, mkay?

Yeah, I wanted to add a little excitement...
I am totally confused now as to what all the deities want to do, whose side is on whose side, all I know for sure is that Dag was lied to, and so was Brittle, and Gert was in on it along with all the deities.

I have the impression it has to do with them all getting to enjoy reality, something to do with needing the sword, and Gaia's jewels, and possibly the crystal key that Fiona used to open the door to the portal (the cave of enchantment), as well as the Green Man?
And the amulet of the Raven Mocker was supposed to be planted on the victim they were going to harm (Brittle), but Ben got it when he got on Brittle's fractious horse to go find Dag and him.
Sslar has just given Adam the sword, in Gert's cabin, after scaring the bejeebers out of him, and Pandora is headed there as well.

Will the nenos et al come there soon?
I was hoping to enjoy a melee between you boys and the deities.
After that, I've no clue what's next, or if we need Brittle or the Avalon story anymore at all, but it was fun!

There's a tiny two-three person cave the driods hid in while it was raining. It's also the small area Pip and Silo hid in before they were taken by Mac's henchmen. The Green Man was in there in a satchel. At some point Neno (the real Neno lol) also was in/around that little shelter/cave/dugout. So we're talking an area that's not the Dragon cave.

Let me ask Neno!

*Hugs* - and yeah, this is taking ages to heal from...especially with the relapse. Unreal stuff, lol.

Finally feeling a bit better and ready to rip into the Saga II.

Once I find out where the Green Man went I'll be up and running!

Have a great weekend all!

BIAD, I love that post!
It helped me understand who the heck we all are;
and nice save on the Splitter's erratic behavior!

So....what next? We're quite the undisciplined lot, all right.

Hi WildTimes, would you be so kind as to show me the 'Index code' that
lets me post my link?

Cheers-me-dears!

EDIT: Don't panic, after consulting with BIAD, I found the way.
Thanks anyway!

Sure! First go to the Voyages thread, to your post. At the top, right-click on the "this post" colored words beside the time and date. Copy that link.
Then go to the Index thread.
Here's what I just copied from your story post by doing the above:
www.abovetopsecret.com...
(Copy this -- you can "quote" this, my post to get the string, or you can right click on the link to get that address yourself)

then format it with [url= paste what you copied here and add a bracket like this -->]
then, enter the number of the post on page
then end the string with [left-bracket+ /url +right bracket]

here's the finished post string

4 Official Document

do a quote on my post here, and copy the finished string, then just plunk it in after 'post on page' in your index post.
Hope that helps. Clear as mud, right?
Cheers, dears! Let me know if it worked for ya.

Oh well, we can leave this tiny confusing tutorial for the enjoyment of our vast audience I guess. It was a good little exercise for me (took me 4 tries to get it the way I wanted it to look!)
Well done you!!

Perfect, except you want it to say 4, not 67.
Just go in and swap out what's between the formatting.

Thanks again and as BIAD commented earlier, It must be a burden for you.
Good looks, brains, wealth dripping everywhere and a pair of legs to die for.

It just shows how untidy my head is!

'undisciplined'...! we couldn't organise a drinking-bout in a Brewery!!

If and when Tibbs announces the quest that Nun'Yunu'Wi has provided, then
we should group together at an agreed place and get out of Dodge!

...wealth dripping everywhere...

Um, he made that part up entirely. No wealth at all, and not the drippy kind.

But thanks *blushes*
I'm no one special, as much as I'd like to think I am.
Except that I have some particularly extraordinary friends now....
being part of The Crew has added untold richness to my life, indeed.

If a movie producer happens to be reading our saga, or a publisher for that matter, who knows...we might ALL be rolling in dough one day!
(Hope springs eternal)
