Neno, Studious and Seeker

What should we do w/ the NI Agents?

I was considering dumping them on the planet we're in orbit of - but I know that if Studious caught wind of that he'd milk it for everything he could upon our return to Earth.

So my next solution was to dump him off there as well.

But I can't do that to another writer without their being involved somehow - plus we're not even sure where he is or that he's even loose on the Penelope at the moment.

If we send them back down to the brig - as Seeker suggested in the last post, there's a chance they could get loose or the half-crazed studious could let them loose and we'd have a new swath of problems to deal with.

What do you guys think?

Can somebody send me a quick U2U, just for kicks, I can't get into my profile without the U2U thingy. I don't know why, it's just a bit weird.

Muchly appreciated.

heh heh heh

I'd rather not indulge as Studious has proven himself sticky in the past.

True - and if I wasn't on-planet whenever "something" happened - I couldn't be held accountable...........

Order up an away team at once!

You know that stasis skid that badger was in is a four seater.
He won't mind lending it out to the ship.

You could probably squeeze all of those NI guys in there.

Hmm... That "something" sounds ominous...

Asher volunteers for the job.

"Oops. That wasn't an escape pod, it was an airlock... My bad."

I hope he doesn't think that I'm really mad at him in real life - LOL!!!!

I hope he's okay, too.

Wonder what happened?

Well mine is somebody who showed interest but I'm not sure he realized the commitment that's involved.

Besides his posting record was mostly the 3 word story on BTS

I found that when I stressed the need for my *recruits* to actually read the whole story before posting?
“No way - too much reading” Was the general consensus.
Oh well...

Same here.

I was kind of shocked, to be honest.

How the hell were you supposed to join the story if you didn't know what was going on?

I guess a brief run-up to our current situation would be fine, and I can totally see a brand-new crewman/woman not knowing the people he/she is serving with right off the bat, but how can you possibly contribute without knowing at least some idea of the overall direction the story has been flowing?

I think I scared 'em off.

Whatever happened to that marine gunnery sergeant kid who was here a week or so ago?

I'm all for dumping NI on the planet. From Luder's description ("nothing" beyond the terminator - no city lights then) it appears to be uninhabited, or inhabited at a low tech level. Depositing them in (oops, did I say "in"? I meant "on" - no digging, it's too much work
) an island, as has been suggested, should keep them relatively safe from any larger predators.

If they were drafted for a landing party, because of their "intel expertise", and just 'somehow' got separated from the main party before we took off for the ship, well, Penelope can't wait around forever for 'em to call home.

"Plausible deniablity" I think is the term used by NI for such an operation.

IF we take 'em down, neno wants to hold the keys to the car, to make sure it don't take off without him...

We also need to determine if they hold any valuable info, and what sort, before they get 'disposed of'.

Hey, there are worse lives than being stranded on a tropical paradise island! I'd consider it a favor to them - better than falling out of an airlock!
