You've been beating around the question for a while now. Are you a communist? It's a simple question with a simple answer, and we all already know
the answer anyway.
It just makes me sick you know man you must really take everything in your life for granted. Communism is sick and twisted manipulation by the
government/corporation ruling all of their lives. What a horrible mix corporations and government. Those are the two most corrupt things on the planet
Earth and there are still people out there who believe they should be one massive power. That's why they get paid cents on the dollar, and if YOU my
friend were working in those Chinese factories pumping out 3,000 Mickey Mouse's a day YOU may just sleep at night by thinking about how great it must
be to live in America.

Edited to stay on point -
Those ships look like an over sized Yacht not fit for military warfare. See the picture that is lined with Chinese forces? That's how they actually
plan to fight you. Standing on the deck with a rifle in hand. Try matching this up against our US Navy Warships and Aircraft Carriers. The government
doesn't care if they lose all of their lives. They are happy for the overpopulation.

So what you two are fighting a war for the US and China? Give me a break....hehe it's like reading about two kids telling each other how big and bad
their dads are.
The bottom line here is that China has had the most robust buildup of their navy in the last 20 years to beat out everyone else in the world including
America.
If they wanted to be a defensive nation they would not need such a fleet, so my guess is they are planning a long term takeover of Taiwan and maybe
other countries where they would need such a fleet to accomplish those types of plans.
The big question is whether a large navy such as this is obsolete before it hardly hits the waters.

The problem I see it as is that China is not a country that does openly-publicly share the Information about anything of their defence force. And the
other problem is with China, is that the Chinese troops that would need to train for the powerful class of any defence -ship-airplanes-military
use.
So, is the training more of a bigger Question to ask, rather then how powerful any defence force is???

There are two school of thoughts regarding that question.
Both were developed in regards to "power projection". One of them is to build a fleet of nuclear submarines to patrol the worlds shipping routes but
it does not offer the obvious advantages of a large aircraft carrier, it was also the cheapest approach. As evident with Chinas deployment of two new
classes of submarines in the Jin SSBN and Shang class SSN china as well the estabilshment of a new submarine pen on Hainan Island indicates that China
is persuing this approach to a extent. This base is located closer to deeper blue water which allows the submarine to escape detection as opposed to
Chinas shallow coastline
Satellite imagery, passed to The Daily Telegraph, shows that a substantial harbour has been built which could house a score of nuclear ballistic
missile submarines and a host of aircraft carriers.
In what will be a significant challenge to US Navy dominance and to countries ringing the South China Sea, one photograph shows China’s latest 094
nuclear submarine at the base just a few hundred miles from its neighbours.
Other images show numerous warships moored to long jettys and a network of underground tunnels at the Sanya base on the southern tip of Hainan
island.
Of even greater concern to the Pentagon are massive tunnel entrances, estimated to be 60ft high, built into hillsides around the base. Sources fear
they could lead to caverns capable of hiding up to 20 nuclear submarines from spy satellites.
Link
The second approach is for the procument of captial ships such as Destroyers and Aircraft carriers. Aircraft carriers are normally associated with
"gunboat" diplomacy and is much more effective than parking a few submarines along the coast. But they are expensive and venuerable to air attack as
well as submarines of which the PLAN is severly lacking in protection from. But rumours have persisted that China will build one, but as the years go
by without a carrier they seem more unlikey. Its possible that China will make the Ex-Varyag into a showcase carrier for humanitarian missions but no
progress has been seen on the hull for a few years now
Anyhow, the next step of the Chinese naval program is to establish control of the "second island chain" and be able to conduct missions further
alone. As of now, the PLAN seem to be testing the waters, conducting submarine patrols to map the seabed and test the defenses of Japan. This step
will eventually lead to the conduction of blue water operations in the future. Only in the past few years has the Chinese military recieved any real
funds to attempt these goals but it seems clear that they will want more control of the sea lanes which their economic development depends on

All those ships look quite modern and very well maintained. I was expecting to see a bunch of rusting hulks. What a pleasant surprise to be wrong.

It is an interesting subject, but one reason why the US is successful with their navy is due to the fact the US rules the skies and so makes their
navy somewhat safer.
There are still big questions on just how safe the US navy is from attack and many reports suggest it is not safe at all. To the point that it would
not take that much to sink a Aircraft carrier or other like large vessel with the technology that is found from even smaller countries like Iran.
When you think that a small country has the technology to takeout ships of the US navy just think what the US has up its sleeves in this area.
This leads me to my point in what is that huge fleet for? In a way I see in your post that it seemed to be a large moving rock with a decision made
20 to 30 years ago and once that rock got moving it was impossible to stop. Honestly, they could use it in their seas, but that type of feet is
geared towards a much more forward projection than you suggest. It would be like saying the US would be using their Navy to patrol the areas of the
coast guard.
Cheaper as you said is the key here, for China is not ready to forward project as the US can with its Air and ground forces, so a Navy is what they
got….
I say 30 years to late though….

I hope your not seriously suggesting that submarine in the picture can make it all the way to America in the ocean.

Yes indeed.
One ship China White forgot to mention is the new Zhengzhou class destroyer. It has a navalised version of the old S-200 with the missiles mounted in
DLC (Diagonal Launch Cells).

Look at it. Obviously at Yacht not fit for military warfare. Don't you think?

Very similar to the first picture just longer and obviously has a missile launch system. The walls look very thin and cheap. It's very blocky so
there is zero stealth capability with that machine. They would see you coming a mile away literally so I hope those missiles can travel far. If they
aren't anti-aircraft missiles they are going to be sunk instantly.

You do realise that is the AMERICAN Ticonderoga class cruiser.
I believe Cobzz set you up. Your pathetic attempt to troll is so obvious. You brag about how good the US military is and you dont have a clue about
it. ROFL. If the Ticonderoga class is a filmsy as you say it is, then the American military is in big trouble.

Thank you for replying.
The craft pictured is actually the highly capable USS Ticonderoga. Her class along with the Arleigh burke class, make up AEGIS and AEGIS BMD which
are the most capable Air Warfare Destroyers (AWD) in the world. The USS Lake Erie, a Ticonderoga class ship, successfully shot down USA 193 spy
satellite with a SM-3 standard missile.
Pictured here
And
Here
Looks can be deceiving.
