Does Australia import Chinese goods? If they do then your ignorant and know exactly what we are talking about. Chinese goods aren't worth the plastic they are molded with.

Your a communist. Nobody should waste their time debating a communist. I personally live in free America where I can voice my opinion against the war in Iraq- just as you have. If you lived in China and China invaded Iraq you would be murdered for treason if you speak against the invasion. In fact you would be forced into the Army.

So having a democracy will help China how?. Australia and China are to vastly different places. China has no tradtion of elections or "rule of law" which was inherited from the British and revolutions in France and America. Magna Carta, Declaration of independence set the precedent for democracy which only really developed in the 1960's civil rights movements etc. If China were to have elections for a national government it would be chaos as regional powers in China would fight for power. Looking at other dictatorships turned democracies like Korea/Japan/Taiwan shows that China is heading in the right path




Was Howard any better?. I remembered the protest against the wars in Iraq and how howard was accused of doing anything the Americans told him. Australias economic future is with China, its a win win relationship economically compared to the Americans who are our main competitions in wheat and beef
