I am glad you posted this on the main forum Dan, but i do have a question to those who keep saying.....why didn't you try to talk to it first?

Would you try to talk to a masked man who you found in your house?
Just because the thing was non-human, doesn't mean it was peaceful.....why the hell SHOULD he have waited to talk to it first?

You people who think that any being not from this plant/dimension MUST be benevolent.....make me laugh.

If the thing Dan saw was THAT peaceful, it wouldn't have been sneaking around in the dead of night.

I don't know about that, Dan really hates the creature, and I'm pretty sure the creature doesn't want to play the part, it probably wont want to reenact the scene again, he can't really lose another eye.

Interesting story, I can’t say yet if I believe you or not, because at this point I am not sure. Anyway, reading yours and your wife’s description of events, a possible theory just jumped into my head. It is food for thought, may or may not be useful, but at least consider it.

This looks to me like a Zoo incident on part of the alien’s perspective. I figure that there where two groups of aliens involved, the fish one you fought, and a group/organization of a different kind of aliens (possibly of the type your wife thought she saw). Basically, the humanoid ones or organized group somehow has control or base set up near earth. These ones may have set up I guess you could say a Zoo view or safari for the fish one, which wanted to see a human family or something. The group set up the encounter and had set high tech placements as a backup plan just in case the event went hay wire. So, Mr. fish (the paying customer to a zoo of you family I guess you could say) enters your house and looks at your family like at the zoo. But, he is about to break the no feeding no touching rule by either going to touch your wife or your child. At this point you wake up and Mr. Fishes’s worst case scenario happens. In the fight his suit launches a safety measure, shocks you and his suit teleports him out, probably to a medical facility on a ship or something. As this happens one of the safety measure is now activated to put your family back to sleep. Then the aliens or the group or organization that set yhis up sends in a cleanup crew. Your family wakes up to a clean house and your wife possibly sees one of the last of the cleanup crew leaving.
Note: Who knows what kind of tech these aliens have it could all be possible. Also, I have some psychology experience and I have learned about all sorts of methods for devices and such that could in fact manipulate people’s perception and also put them back to sleep, the aliens could have such devices.
Just a thought. Hope you understand what I am trying to say.

I also don’t know much about aliens in general put I do think you might want to look into aliens I think are referred to as the palidians or something. Check out his thread also, www.abovetopsecret.com...

It could have all been some strange none petting Zoo like mess up.

Hey, I just first off wanted to say that I believe you. Like someone else mentioned, you don't seem like the kind of person to make this up, well from what I've read of your posts.

What worries me though is that the being might have been benevolent and was simply only curious and didn't mean harm to your family at all. Especially because you said it didn't have any armour on, but clothing that seemed to be made of nice material. And usually - well in our society anyway - nice material, means wealthy, so it might have been a being of high rank or something?

Also, we as humans know not to go around snooping in people's bedrooms or places that are private or where someone's family is. But for all we know, this being might not have known that, it would probably have different customs. And even if it did know, maybe there was something it wanted to help you with and that to enter where your family was sleeping would be an acceptable risk.

But that said, I do agree that you had every right to defend yourself. Because as far as you know, it could've been there to harm you and your family. And if it weren't, how would you have been able to know that? Safety first. Hopefully if they are benevolent, they'll know now not go around snooping in people's bedrooms, and so maybe there won't be repeat of what happened. I hope they're benevolent

Oh and sorry if someone already mentioned what I've said about the whole benevolent alien thing, I haven't read all of the thread yet . And I'm not saying I believe it was benevolent, I'm just thinking aloud kinda. It probably was malevolent, but I hope it wasn't

An amazing experience there.

I have two questions, and please forgive me if I missed them already in this thread:

1: Do you have any recollection of previous 'dreams', 'missing time' that in any way relate to your memories of this experience?

The reason I ask is two-fold:
i) I have interviewed scores of people who have had claimed experiences - similar to yours in some aspect (ie waking up to see creatures in the room), but minus the attack.
The majority of these cases, when asked, recalled incidents which suggest a 'history' of other experiences, sometimes going back several generations.
ii) In many of these cases, there is also an extreme emotion, often including an 'insane' level of anger. It is thought by some researchers that the intensity of these emotions is CAUSED by previous encounters of a similar nature, but which are suppressed or 'forgotten'.

In other words, there are some researchers in this field, who when reading your account, will suspect a link between your intense feelings and likely previous encounters that you don't remember - but which leave deep 'emotional' memories.

2) Do you have military or paramilitary, martial arts or similar training or background? If so, would you attribute your instant rage with your training?

Yours is by far the most violent case I have heard of in terms of humans dishing it out to non-humans. The nearest equivalent is a report I heard about a guy who 'came to' on the examination table inside some craft. He also became instantly angry, and for some reason decided he was capable of using his mind to 'pick up' one of the aliens he particularly didn't like for some reason - and repeatedly bashed said alien against the side of the wall for several minutes. Another lady I interviewed told me she used her mind to 'throw' an alien in a similar situation, clean across the 'room' she was in.

It could not be any weirder that it already is. The cleaned room is what really, really bothers me the deepest. My wife swears she saw some thing 'nearly human' and it really deeply bugs me.

However.. a zoo ? a no touch thing going on ? wow... thats a novel theory.

NO I am not and I find that kind of offensive. I usually don't reply to any ufo threads and aviod the subject. My possible explanation only fits if you assume that there are multiple advanced races. I don't know if there are, but i just thought that this is a possible explanation to concider. We humans do this all the time and hist happens, ie some one tires petting a lion like an idoit. Who is to say higher ETs don't look at us the same way we look at a lion?
