If Dennis had met same fate of "NATURAL CAUSES" you would be suspicous or same feeling of just his time to go ?

A little off topic and not to derail the flow of the thread but I noticed you have been registered since 2004 and have very low ATS points like myself in which I joined almost a year ago. Did I make someone at Corporate mad or am I just classified as less than? I'm not hurt over it or anything just curious. This is prob the first real off topic post I have done, so?

Not to be a beacon of sanity and reasonable thought within the ATS community, but didn't the initial report say there was no foul play apparent? And also no violence, against himself or others.

Dennis is the older of his seven siblings, Perry was the youngest, and 52. He probably had a heart attack, or a stroke, or a number of potential sudden, silent killers could've crept up on him. He was 52.

1+1=2, not 3. Stop jumping to conclusions, start thinking rationally.

Now if they find polonium in his blood....

I think I read somewhere of a spray to the face that can induce a heart attack. It leaves no residue that is detectable in a regular autopsy.

Methinks it's the old/new spray to the face gimmick. Come Watson, the game is afoot!

If this was done by our government, this is a declaration of war against the American people. They've been silently at war with us for decades (taking away or freedoms, ignoring our positions, and taxing us without representation). We have to do something before it's too late.

Our prayers and thoughts go out to the Kucinich family. Don't give up the fight to bring the Republic back to the people.

This is a bit off-topic. I don't have an opinion of the Perry Kucinich death one way or the other. It sounds normal. If this were the neighborhood's baker's brother, would all of these conspiracy theories abound?

Anyway, I just saw the movie Michael Clayton and what was really spooky about that movie was the depiction that there are ex-secret-agency-of-some-sort-trained-assassins that freelance for corporations and whomever else that can afford their services. Needless to say, a potential client would, in the first place, have to have the necessary connections to hire such services, as such services are not advertised in the Yellow Pages.

So the connection with Perry Kucinich's death is only that, while reading the news report, I couldn't help thinking of the movie Michael Clayton. It's true that Dennis Kucinich is too high-profile to target in such a way and that targeting his sometimes mentally ill brother is lower profile. My point is that there is a lot in US mainstream culture that can cause one to have a knee jerk reaction to certain kinds of news. Just because one has the suspicious thought doesn't mean that the suspicion is true. Perhaps another cup of coffee is needed? The death of Dennis Kucinich's brother may just be another normal everyday occurrence. Or it may not have been; those of us in the general public would only receive a fictional account of the incident, anyway.

Might as well enjoy that second cup of coffee. Otherwise, going insane trying to piece threads together from such a mundane story to fit conspiracy allegations is the only other option. The general public never gets the real scoop on the deaths of the nobility. Wait until something more high-profile and thus more suspicious happens. Draw parallels and piece together threads then. A body has already been found. There's no need to muddy the waters.

I've met Perry a few times at my uncles' house ...who was president of The Democratic Club in Cleveland for many years (my uncle). Sure, Perry suffered from manic/depressive illness which would act up sometimes but .. think Jane Paulie, the former Today co-host who also has that illness. Perry was normal -- completely normal. He was very dedicated to his brother -- a real friendly guy with a good sense of humor.

So when I heard about his death, I was so shocked! -- but I can't but wonder if there's some kind of indirect foul play which resulted in his death. Kucinich has a lot of enemies so we can't rule that out. Politics is a dirty game... no doubt about that!

The Kucinich family is a very large and close clan. They take care of their own so for Perry to die like this, so unexpectedly... just doesn't click with me.

I don't understand why some on here think Kucinich was a nobody. He's been all over the news, both on internet and MSM. He ran for president in 2004. I first heard about him back in about 2001 when he voted against the Patriot Act. I've followed him ever since then and the man makes perfect sense. He wants to get rid of the thugs running our govt. and get America back on track, return it to a democracy. He has been pushing hard for Cheney's impeachment, and if any one person can be given credit for getting the Cheney impeachment going, it would be Dennis.
Someone asked if we would be yelling conspiracy if it was the bakers' son or some such. The thing is: this isn't the baker's son. This is a high profile politician, one who openly bucks the corrupt system of govt. He IS a real threat to the PTB. If they killed Mr. Kucinich, it would be way too suspicious, so instead they go after a family member as a way of warning him and scaring him out of the presidential race. Thing is, he may well be committed enough to truth and justice, that he still stays in the running. It will be interesting to see where this goes or is even reported on after this.
Of course, there's always the chance that this wasn't murder, but I think the pros outweight the cons here; just pretty suspicious, in my book.

I wonder why the naysayers get so angry and vehement when we talk about conspiracy in relation to this event. What's behind all that emotion? Fear that it might be true maybe? Just guessing.

So Mr. Kucinich was drinking poisoned tea before he got shot in the head four times and wrapped up in barb wire? I'm confused.

and how about that late radioactive russian agent of late?

And the tea was also poisoned with Polonium?

Oh I see, your adding things that have absolutely nothing to do with the death, and are, like most people on those forum, ignorantly jumping to conclusions of grander before even a preliminary toxicology's report or autopsy is preformed. Way to dilute the form. Plus one star for you.

Dennis Kuciniches brother had pills shoved down his throat and was declared an overdose!? oh, right, he fell over and died from a heart attack, the number one cause of death daily in the united states.

If Dennis had met same fate of "NATURAL CAUSES" you would be suspicous or same feeling of just his time to go ?

I wouldn't think it suspicious, because he's 62, and he would've been killed by the number one cause of death daily in the united states.

Lets just do an experiment here. One person in this sequence was killed by somebody, one person wasn't. Can you tell?

Person A commits suicide by shooting himself in the head. There are no fingerprints on the gun, and no suicide note.

Person B dies from a heart attack during the golden years of his life.

Guess who got snuffed?

WolfofWar,

Perrry Kucinich was ONLY 51 when he was found dead -- not 62. And I should add that he was a very young 51 at that. He's very well known in the art community here in cleveland.

I was talking about if Dennis Kucinich died, read the quote I replied too. And Perry was 52, and the number one cause of death in that age group? Heart disease and failure. The time it takes you to read this sentence, eight people died of heart attacks.

Wolfowar...
No, he was 51.
This is the information that's on Kucinich's website.

Perry Kucinich was a talented artist who produced a prodigious volume of work. Some of his works have been on display recently at a local art gallery. He and his brother Dennis were planning another showing of his works in the spring.

Perry J. Kucinich, younger brother of Ohio Congressman Dennis J. Kucinich, died early this morning in his apartment in Cleveland,Ohio. He was 51. The cause of death will be determined by the coroner’s office.

I should add that Perry and his brother were inseparable. They were very, very close and good buddies. Both are extremely intelligent and articulate too... as anyone can see when watching Dennis up at the podium.

Everyone in their family is like that. A really lively and VERY INTELLIGENT family and they are all actively involved in one way or another in the Cleveland community.

I have a question, its a pretty simple one. Its only one word....why?

Lets be reasonable....a 52 year old man dies of a heart attack. Something that kills people EVERYDAY. "But its unexpected"...well hears a news flash....WHO EXPECTS TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK? Do people say "man, looks like you are going to have a heart attack today"...no, its a freaking heart attack, of course it will be unexpected. If its expected, that means he knows its going to happen.

[edit on 20-12-2007 by grimreaper797]

As one who just had a heart attack in march at 55, I can tell you without any doubt, one knows somethings up with the heart way before it goes boing!. Now if the individual is in denial or wishes to depart the one will tell no one and act as if life is pleasent and full of marriment. There are always signs of heart disease. Let no one tell you different. I told my doctors of my heart issue for years and they failed to recognize the signs. One doctor insisted I had diabetes which I donot and another flately refused to get the message. Guess what. The heart went BOING! and I was 911'd to emergency where angioplasty was performed and the heart was so bad I was transported to a heart specialist hospital for triple bypass open heart surgery. I can asure you, when the heart is going out, you will have warning to save it or prepare to move on.

Now, either kucinich knew it was coming, and he used vioxx or other heart damaging drug (cocain) and told no one or some one paid him a visit and picked him with a dissipating drug to induce cardiac arrest. My nickles worth.

Thanks for the personal insights, Palashea. I always figured he and his family were all pretty special, from the way Dennis talks.

Now, here's a point: I have read that autopsies are hardly done any more. The fact that they are doing an autopsy on the brother, should tell everyone that the death was at least somewhat suspicious, or that at least the family had suspicions. It's not like there's never been a suspicious death connected to the govt. If they will kill JFK, they're capable of anything.

Yes, no one ever dies unless it's a conspiracy.

If you believe "the conspiracy" to be near omnipotent, why would they kill someone's brother, when they have to know that you'll "put the pieces together?" Wouldn't they be smarter than that?

Besides, 60-70% of the American public has no idea who Dennis Kucinich is. They don't about his stances on 9/11 or impeachment. He's a nobody. Popularity among conspiracy hacks or the internet does not translate into real-life popularity. Of those 60-70% who know who he is, half of those probably don't know how to spell his name.

But maybe you're right. Maybe no one dies unless it's a conspiracy.

When I was 17, I believed in this junk. I was telling my friends or anyone who would listen about it. Then a friend of mine died in a car accident. Obviously, she was killed by The Conspiracy to send me a message.

Obviously.

Or, I know...my grandmother died a month ago, after being diagonsed with cancer right after I joined ATS. Obviously the Conspiracy killed her to send me a message not to be on ATS.

Obviously.

And it obviously gets into every aspect of my life. A train stalled on my bus-route a week ago, making me late to the office. Obviously, the Conspiracy stalled the train to send me a message.

So much for the presumption of innocence, until guilt has been established eh? I suppose if the cause of death is of natural causes, you will retract your statement? The amount of jumping to conclusions around here, on a board that is about Denying Ignorance, is astounding.

You must be living in a bubble. You ask anyone on the street if they know who Dennis Kucinich is and I can guarantee you ... most people know who he is.

And anyone who's voted knows who he is too because his name was on the presidential ballot in the last primary election! Jeesh.. give me a break.

Why you are attempting to diminish his name is beyond me but Kucinich has a very large, loyal and dedicated following all over the country.

As for his brother's death. I can tell you that the first thing that came to my mind was that some kind of foul play must be involved here, possibly to disrupt his presidential campaign. This was the very first thought that came to my mind when I read that Perry was found dead. And I'm not one of those conspiracy nuts out there but I'm from a political family and I know the kinds of nasty stuff that can go on during elections. I remember one time when I was campaigning for an environmental candidate where on 2 separate occasions, after getting out of a meeting, someone had intentionally blown 2 brand new tires on my van. This is small stuff but it's something most people can expect when they are involved in political campaigns. But you wouldn't believe some of the stories I've heard over the years on the kinds of rotten and nasty things that go on during election time for politicians, their family's and their staffers.

And I agree with Forestlady that it's unusual that they have to do an autopsy on Perry as all they would need to do would run some quick tests to rule out a heart attack or drug overdose. That they are doing an autopsy just shows that they are not really ruling out foul play even though authorities are saying that so far... but they always say that until proven otherwise. And for good reason too -- I won't even go into that part of it.
Kucinich has A LOT of enemies... even in the local Cleveland area -- this is why they are doing that autopsy.

If your last name isn't Clinton, Obama, or Edwards, you don't have a chance at getting the Democratic nomination. Kucinich does not have a large following, if by large you are comparing his following to any other candidate. He and Ron Paul are in the single digits, which I think could show that neither of them have a huge following among the general populace.

I like Dennis and his stances. However I would have to agree, 8 out 10 would not know who he was, maybe 6 out 10 don't know, even with some prompting. I have had a couple relatives drop dead from heart attacks in their early forties. I think Viagra was the culprit, but of course no proof. (Except for the fact that they couldn't get the casket closed.
