Tennis: Women's Tennis

I just saw on SportsCenter that Venus is joining Serena on the sideline, Venus has a stomach ailment. This will be the first year since 1998 that a Williams wont win the US Open. That leaves Kim Clijsters as the #1 seed.

When i first saw this i must have been the happiest man alive. To see the William Sisters finally out of the grand slam before it starts. I always seem to catch myself just watching the match hoping that they wuld lose and they would be gone from the tournament. Now i wont have to do that i can watch all the matches just wondering who who is going to win it on the Women's side it is wide open this year.

That is music to my ears...

I waiting for when serena gets knocked off the no 1 spot now...

I expect that Kim or Justine will win this open. But i am thinking that Justine has the better shot...she won the major in France...and she has a lot of confidence right now.

Ben i was thinking the same,i was going for Kim but we shall have to wait and see..

All i know is that i am going to have some fun watching this years open. Without the Sisters.
