NEWS: Series of Explosions Rock London 07/07

The network im on is voda pone as is the person im trying to get hold of, still getting a dead tone! hopefully she jus forgot to top up !!

just wanted to say i hope you manage to get through to your friend and they are ok. it is going to be difficult to contact anyone on a mobile in london as parts of the network are still down and they are being prioritised for the emergency services.

It is next to impossible to get an international line at the moment too so those of you trying to contact friends and family from outside the uk may find it difficult too.

i have friends in london who shouldn't have been anywhere near the incidents but I have not been able to contact them either. i'm just hoping they are ok and the same goes for everyone trying to contact loved ones.

I live in dorset and every train station on the lines out of london are closed and they have been searching and interviewing everyone on the trains & buses. transport even down here is very difficult but hopefully should ease over the next few hours.

The reason for the unresponsiveness of mobile phones is because the police is using a system called ACOCT or ACOLT can't remember. Anyway this only keeps the network open for individuals with special sim cards such as emergency services. My source is BBC news.

My thoughts go to the families of those who have been murdered this day and to the people that have been injured. i hope the attacks have ended and for the safety of people in Brittain.

Police press conference on now. They have just said that there was 4 explosive devices and that there was an explosion in the middle of one of the underground tunnels.
They also said that they were given no warning and that they have not received any statements claiming responsibility

This may seem unconnected, but bare with me.

Did anyone here happen to go to the Hyde Park Live8 concert on Saturday, if so did you walk up the Edgware Road?

Did you notice any white balloons?

And what was written on them?

It's an eerie feeling now that I recall how many of those stations I've been through before...

It means nothing to me, but what are you thinking? You think they are somehow connected to this?

They reported shooting a terrorist only to retract the statement.
There was training this morning for a terrorist attack in London.
Tube stations shut down prior to blasts.
Surveillance absolutely everywhere in London.
