See Mach2's answer.

I would add the special council was never for anything "russia".
IMO the special council was for obstruction,or whatever else could be dug up on trump, as the spoiled brat that was fired was the one who arranged to have one.
There "was no need" for a special council until comey was fired. Remember he was fired with the recommendation of Rosenstein and Sessions at the time, and Trump was happy to provide letters from both.

IMO it was nothing more than a disgusting display of abuse of power. Trump is a butthole, but that is not illegal, nor is it a reason to remove him from office.

The investigation did exactly what it was supposed to do: look into what actually happened. People were indicted. people are going to jail. The overly political are the ones who called it an investigation into Trump specifically, when it was obviously much more comprehensive than that.

Something happened. It was investigated. Criminality was uncovered. Where there were facts and evidence, the investigation zeroed in and did what it was designed to do.

Where there was no evidence uncovered, the investigation bore that out as well. That's what an investigation if for....

The indictments that were handed down had nothing to do with Russian
collusion in the 2016 election. So the Special Counsel was a spectacular
failure in that sense. As a nation, 30 million for some process crimes
and tax problems; this is unacceptable.

The investigation is a crime in and of itself, it was a carefully orchestrated
ruse to try and trap and take down a duly elected President of the United States.

Dozens of people conspired together to entrap, and engaged in criminal
conspiracy, abuse of power, obstruction of justice. The Special Counsel
investigation was a travesty, not even taking into account all of the innocent
people that have had their lives torn asunder while they were investigated
for a crime that never occurred.

There will be hell to pay one way or another. If those who are guilty of treason
and sedition are brought to justice, that would bring justice to the forefront.

If it is buried, the rot will eat away like a cancer at the fabric of this country.
To talk of blunders by President Trump, policy differences, personality flaws
in such a way that tries to justify the miscarriage of justice that has been
carried out is just unacceptably disgusting.

I like being a stick in the mud.

Reality sucks often.

What would not be a surprise would be if that Dem decides to try to salvage the Dem party by throwing some idiot that are red handed, under the bus. It will be easy to justify now.

I'm dying to see the classified "Scope of Investigation" letter that Rosenstein gave to Mueller in August 2017. THAT is what really told Mueller what to do... not that public version we all saw in May 2017.

It was referring to charlottesville. I am on my cell an it has a tendency of changes the words I write into gibberish so it won't let me spell out what kind of torches they were. But overall that post was just my overly dry sarcastic humor rising up.

thanks

are there more confederate statues to tear down?
is that still a thing?

I thought I heard that they now have their sites on Washington and Jefferson as being white supremacists, but we will see. No need for expecting Rt Wingers if they go for our founders because the whole nation will rally to stop the fools if it goes that far.

I have thought, right or wrong, there would not be much legal action until the Muller report was finished. If there had been a recommendation to go after HRC's cartel the dems and MSN would start the cadence that the repubs are interfering with the on going Muller investigation.. Now that the Muller report is finished the gloves can come off..

I do not think Barr is in anyone's closet except for the closet of truth and justice.. at least I hope so...

It's unlikely the House Intel committee will push forward with this - it's chaired by Democrats.
the Senate Intel committee on the other hand... Graham has not only said he will be opening an investigation, he said he will be asking Barr for a new Special Counsel to investigate FISA abuses and the Obama admin spying on Trump.

Excellent-treason (punishable by death) is an appropriate charge IMHO

Although I'd settle for insurrection, seditious conspiracy or possibly espionage (since it was dealing with foreign actors and subversive behavior aimed at perpetuating a coup)

The absolute minimum punishment I feel is appropriate would be either 75 years to life, or stripping them of citizenship and deporting their coup-treason enabling asses. That is for the Pol's who pushed this nonsense. Those with money should be given very stiff fines in addition to the prison time, to be paid via asset forfeiture and other statutes for fighting organized crime.

The MSM, it just depends. Those who willfully perpetuated this conspiracy... this plot... deserve prison time. 10 years? 25 years? 50 years? It needs to be enough time to make an example of them. Again, those with money should be given very stiff fines in addition to the prison time.

And the voters? Well, there is no cure for stupid but that doesn't explain this phenomenon. Obviously penalizing voters for being duped and taken advantage of would be wrong. So in my eyes only they are off the hook, whether they knew they were perpetuating lies or not (and I suspect some of them, at least, were astutely aware of this fact)

But the Pols and MSM traitors who tried to overthrow a legitimacy elected and duly installated POTUS have to be made into examples. To strike fear in the hearts of our enemies - foreign and domestic - who even get an inkling to try something like this again. The damage to our reputation and justice system is permanent, irreversible and immeasurably costly.

Radical socialist scum needs put in their place again, too.

In all cases, I support and stand behind our President and however he decides to handle this lot of bottom feeders. How. Ever.

I doubt that will happen, both parties rally around their losers far too often.

Please please please let this be true. I have waited so long for the hammer to drop on these perpetrators and for justice to be served. It seems to me that very wealthy elite continue to protect these louses. Lets pray that justice comes to pass.

As much as I would like to see it go forward, the statement yesterday specifically said NO American citizen colluded with Russian operatives.

That would lead me to believe Meuller didn't find anything there either, or perhaps that was not in the "scope" if his investigation.

That would be no American that Mueller investigated...Mueller didn't investigate any Democrats...

If there is justice, some people need to end up being tried for treason and sedition. There are a lot of serious implications to this, far beyond just meddling with an election, and starting up that big nothing burger of a witch hunt investigation.

Remember the Pakistani Awan brothers (Debbie Wasserman Schultz fame) who had access to the computers of 40 sitting members of of the DNC caucus ? Well the brothers and their wives are in Pakistan spending their estimated 4 million tax payer supplied dollars ... Talk about a "all talk but no action" scenario. Russia, Russia, Russia, my butt !. The good news is as of about 4 months ago Judicial watch filled a law suit .. Seems like everywhere you look there is a deep smell of corrupt politicians..

One of his more rambling videos however there are several key points that should make everyone wonder who is monkeying with the steering of the ship of state
youtu.be...

Yes, I remember them, and I'd love some of these Leftists to explain why no one was investigated over that mess! Or the real Russian involvement, with Uranium One, etc.
