Not going to get into details with you but the bible actually talks about the King of the North going down at the very end of the last days which is now and Russia. Not saying the USA will defeat them or NATO, but sometimes regimes fall if they are doing something God doesn't like.

I forgot Russians are super finicky and picky on their translations of the bible, the Russian Synodal Version (RUSV) is the officially acceptable version for the country.

Since you are an American, you have the Bible of King Jacob. This is an English translation of the Judean Masoretic text of the 10th century AD. By this time, the Masoreans had copied the existing scrolls of the written Torah and the rabbis had burned the originals. So you have a translation from the Hebrew text of the 10th century AD.

Liturgies in the Russian Orthodox Churches follow the Catherine Bible - translated into the Church Slavonic language of the Greek Septuagint by the king of Egypt, Ptolemy, the most ancient text of the Old Testament that has come down to us - 3 centuries BC.
The first attempt to translate into Russian was made by the Russian Bible Society, a branch of the London Bible Society, during the time of Emperor Alexander I. The translation of the Old Testament was made on the basis of the Masoretic text. But the Emperor ordered the company to disperse, and all transfers to burn. After 2 weeks, he died and the masonic uprising of the Decembrists began.
The second translation attempt succeeded under Emperor Alexander II, again on the basis of the Masoretic text, but with parallel passages from the Septuagint. Since the discrepancies in the number of poems, their content and dating were very large. Over time, the editions of the parallel sites simply disappeared, and now the Synodal Translation is being published only on the basis of the Masoretic text. But he is only for home reading as information. It does not apply to temples, seminaries and academies, nor universities.

The Catholic Bible, the Vulgate, was based on a translation from the Septuagint into Latin. But after the Second Vatican Council of 1962-65, the Vulgate was re-translated, but already from the Judean Masoretic text.

There is also the Protestant Scofield Bible. But this is generally a complete initiative, does not hold water.
