The whole point of the U.N. was to make sure corrupt nationalism didn't happen. They wanted to be in the know just in case something terrible was brewing. Ie, rise of fascism in germany.

But it's failed many times and been high jacked by the biggest pay roll for the top people.
Just look how Rwanda played out.

While the problem is certainly that children can't go to prison with their parents, and our extradition options could use improvement, what we're dealing with are essentially refigees. Where has the UN been throughout all of it? Nowhere to be seen. They're a joke. To the rest of the world it's only "America First" when they want something.

Where does the Trump "U"SA pull out next, earth maybe?

Wait, wasn´t there something with a space force?

Ok, maybe we can hope they really leave earth soon.

The Obama administration was worse - kids in cages, suicidal vets on the streets, encouraging illegal entry into the US, hating christians and conservatives and so on and so forth.

The topic is not about, nor did I make any claim about, the previous president. Nor is it about your perceived persecution complex.

Also, vets and suicide is a very serious issue that transcends presidential administrations. I find it to be in very poor taste that you would use it as an appeal to emotion in a case like this.

What has Trumps administration done that even remotely compares to what #44 did ?

I don't know. You made the comparison, so I suppose the burden of such a comparison is on you.

All I did was mention that this admin's record on human rights and rights in general has been a matter of question for some.

So I give credit to the Trump admin. At least they are going to remove themselves from the equation before their own biases and hypocrisies are highlighted.

Nah, that's b.s. We are, so far, however, hypocrites as far as the rights abuses that happen when we disguise imperialism as democracy and pursue regime change. All these problems predate Trump though. If you don't want to be honest here please at least be honest when you look in the mirror.

Where was I dishonest? Did I say it did not predate Trump's admin?

I think you are creating a strawman with no reason to do so.

As a lighthearted musing, I'd be interested in seeing that. Maybe s# would have a chance to settle down if the global troublemaker wasn't around anymore to stir the pots they don't belong in.

Yeah, who cares about human rights anyway. Totally overrated.

It's like ObamaCare. Pure ripoff.

I agree with your choice to edit your post. Your first comparison was quite silly.

Here is an observation: the closer it gets to an election, the more the democrats care about 'human rights' - when it's not election time, democrats like to lie with porn stars and be racist about Russians, because Trump is literally Hitler.

Elections are coming - bring on cryin chuck and the child cages lies.
Elections are over - bring on Mad Max and the peaches.

True. Comparing waste within an organization with human rights and calling them a rip off is not a very good thing to say.

Comparing it to Obamacare...that's much better.

Their attention to human rights is why there are so many Weinsteins, rapes, pedophiles, illegals, political crooks, etc.. Humans have to right to do whatever they want, according to Dims, apparently.

I'm still waiting on Joe Biden's report. Obama tasked him during the 2015 State of The Union address with curing cancer.

Now that is dishonest and I hope the OP calls you out on it, if he/she is seriously concerned about honesty.

People that uphold human rights are not responsible for the disgusting choices people make in tier lives.

And for you to blame that on the "dims", goes to further prove your despicable nature. There is nothing you will not use as a political tool, even pedophilia.

Probably not the best example to use, sweety.

You’re right. There are plenty of other, even better examples of Trump not caring about human rights.

Cute deflection.

Boring, expected, but cute.

It always amazed me that Saudi Arabia, the land of desert Islam and the nest of religious extremism, religious intolerance, public beheadings and zero womans rights was granted a position a few years ago as the head of the UN human rights council - Saudi Arabia!!!!!, arguably the most unevolved extremist society on the planet.

Trump administration approves sale of $1.3 billion in artillery to Saudi Arabia

I made the topic and I decide what its about - its not off topic, its right on point. Obama was a disgusting POTUS whose legacy will be the commencement of the deconstruction of the US's sovereignty because he is an open border advocate. His policies of encouraging catch and release inlieu of adhering to the US immigration policy has led to the current turmoil at the border where in the latest chapter, the UN has weighed in and attempted to blame Trump for policies set up by Obama.

NB: I only quoted part of your post because that's all I want to address.
