"America has had 273 mass shootings this year alone and more people have died from mass shootings from 1968 than have died in every single war America has fought in since its independence. "

Seems correct.

It would be, by far, the most ineffective covert strategy that the government has ever undertaken seeing as how gun ownership spikes considerably after these events.

Ok. It's my turn to put on the conspiracy hat. What if the NRA doesn't care about gun owners at all, but just wants to ease selling restrictions for gun manufacturers so they can make a bigger profit? Naaaaah. That doens't sound realistic either.

I think the point being made is everybody wants to legislate the exception while they blithely ignore the commonplace.

If people want to worry about mass shootings, they’d worry about mass shootings. Not these mass shootings over there, but ignore those mass shootings over here.

Over half of all mass shootings are some sort of domestic issue, be it gang activity or violence in the home. But people ignore that and focus on the outliers.

Yup its a accurate statistic look it.

Something like 1.5 million gun related deaths since 1968 vs 1.2 million in wars since 1776.

Link

You guys effectively have a 9/11 taking place every day and are doing nothing about it, thats why the rest of the world looks at your relationships with guns with shock.

I guess I do kind of see the point you are making about how the biggest problem actually being domestic and gang related mass shootings.

I would argue though that its so common that when there is a huge mass shooting it just brings the topic up into the public eye again. Debates about stricter gun regulation are as much about stopping the events in Vegas as they are about just trying to reduce the number of needless deaths that take place everyday. Its just that events like Vegas put the topic back into the public eye.

so many alledged " false flag mass shootings "

so few guns actually confiscated

its not prooving to be a very effective " strategy " is it

only bill gates " vaccine depopulation " program is doing a worse job

No there hasnt been a mass shooting nearly every day this year. That's ridiculous. And now please post the stats on how many crimes are stopped and outright prevented due to armed citizens.

and actually - you should look at the NRA and firearm manufactures

everytime there is a alledged " false flag mass shooting "

idiots run out and buy more firearms and ammunition

go figure

" follow the money " is a popular catchphrase - though often used out of context

PS - for the " thinking challenged wingnuts " - the above post is just taking the piss out of YOU - not a serious argument

there - position clarified

You know what I find amazing.

In a country of about 300 million, where there is roughly one gun for every citizen, people actually think that mass shootings are the result of some grand conspiracy rather than just a symptom of mass almost unregulated gun ownership.

with so many guns being owned by so many people mass shootings are almost a inevitability.

I think Australia is a really good example, in 1996 after the port-Arthur massacre they went through a process of massive changes to gun laws. In the years before this they had roughly one. mass shooting a year, after the new laws came into effect. Since then I think they have had one mass shooting, their gun related homicide rates have fallen year on year as have suicide rates because most people before 1996 were shooting themselves.

America has had 273 mass shootings this year alone and more people have died from mass shootings from 1968 than have died in every single war America has fought in since its independence.

Guns are the reason for so many mass shootings.

Not false flag attacks

If that were the case then after combine they would have gone gun grabbing, certainly would have expected it after Sandy Hook. But ohhh no, the big gun lobbies can't have that, you have to laugh when a senator tweets about how sad he is about the the deaths in Vegas when he takes donations from the big gun lobbies. Lets fly the flag at half mast for all those who died in Vegas.....then next am off have to go to a dinner hosted by the gun lobbyists and after that we have a few international arms sales to negotiate. Its not bad enough that they are killing your kids on our streets, hell lets also sell guns to countries who we know will then pass those guns on to people killing our troops.

The whole thing pisses me off.

NO, guns aren't the reason for so many mass shootings, people with guns are. The weapon can do NOTHING by itself. It needs an operator to make it into a killing machine. And the reason that person decided to use it to kill others is what needs to be understood, and stopped. If your theory was true, we should have 300 million mass shootings daily. We don't.

mass almost unregulated gun ownership.

I had to stop reading there. Have you ever applied for a weapon in the U.S ? Do you know the paperwork, questions asked, ever been ran through a NICS background check?
Or are you getting your info from "sources"?

This will open as a PDF..You don't have to download to take a look at it.
www.atf.gov...

Now, can you lie? Of course. But, if the FBI even thinks they smell something wrong, you're gonna have guys in suits and sunglasses knockin' on your door, wanting to know WHY. Actually, it's probably going to be State Police or Sheriff's Dept, but hey, when they slap on the cuffs, doesn't really matter at that point, does it?

I have said this before...It is not a gun problem. There are millions of us who are law abiding gun owners, who have never harmed a soul with our weapons and would no more think of doing it than harming our own families. Blame this on criminals, mentally ill or terrorists, but stop blaming inanimate objects.

what point would that be? Other than they aren't smart enough to understand the value of life?

The film 'Bowling for Columbine' explores why America has so many gun crimes and compares with other countries.
The conclusion is that there is not enough support for people - people are not being cared for by the authorities.
Poverty causes madness.

You're crazy! Stop with the logical crazy talk!

Psssh, mental illness is not at all responsible for this, psychopathic tendencies are not responsible for this - and it's not like people who suffer from mental health problems hide them or anything so people don't judge them or avoid help or anything.

Nooooooo, it's a false flag to remove guns because...because...ah crap, gun sales went up instead, no it's aliens...no it's the government to increase surveillance - crap they already did that after 9/11....

No no, conspiracy only.

This is certainly a thought that crosses millions of minds.

Even people who don't buy into the NWO agenda are thinking this.

It's becoming obvious now that this agenda is driving events.

What did you think of the 4-chan poster who 3 weeks ago warned people to stay away from Las Vegas?

So there have been about 1500 incidents during which a firearm was used for defensive use.

Then again there were also just as many accidental shootings so I guess they might cancel each other out.

Link

Ohhh and yes there has been 1 mass shooting a day this year.
