Yep, I've been there. Real neat and yet oddly quiet too. What I meant though was a reference to a story being pushed around about China being concerned about the mountain area where the tests are being conducted having a radiation spread. I'd assume an avalanche on the mountain area where these tests are being conducted could create an earthquake, but that's the concern too about spreading radiation too.

On the other hand this could ben an real earthquake, just poorly timed by mama nature. (and yes I know mama nature isn't a real thing)

I don't know about the history for such quakes in the region. Quite similar in magnitude... I'll leave to the experts to analyze the waveform.

There is no need to test again once he went thermo with the H bomb, and it would take a long time to prepare another test since the last one.
