FYI over 50k people in the UK (Muslim or otherwise), over a three week period, downloaded al'queda's online terror magazine.
The content of which instructs how to kill and maim with everyday household items.

50k - in 3 weeks.

How does one surveil better under those circumstances?

You serious?

Yes, check out my threads, it's all there. It was a 3 week monitoring period in 2016.

Who knows how many were downloaded in total.

I repeat it is much harder for us to surveil Muslims due to the locations they are radicalised in such as Mosques. There are merely a handful of operatives that could pass for Muslims in the employ of MI5. All listeners are trained in Arabic and Pashto but would be unlikely to attend a Mosque without being outed. Muslims rarely join the armed forces which is where most of MI5 are recruited. Without the co-operation of the Muslim community there is little chance of success on a large scale or having enough manpower to watch those already on the list. These people hide they are good at it. They are normal Muslims to most. The majority on the current inactive case list come from other countries brave Imams and a few from family members. Remember, it is their belief that if they co-operate they are betraying their faith.

These are not ordinary criminals planning a heist.

Ahh so you think it far better to actually let the bombings and killings happen first then? Nice

You can't lock-up people for crimes you think they might commit.

That's called pre-crime.

No, but you can decide to not let people in your country who have beliefs that are contary to the beliefs of the citizens of your country.

So no freedom to believe what you want to believe? You have to believe in what everyone else believes?

That's group-think.

Orwellian indeed.

No.
You know that is not the point.
But you go right ahead and defend people who defend people who kill innocent people.

Downloading it doesn't necessarily mean anything. Not everyone who reads Mein Kampf is planning on becoming a Nazi, some just read it for historical value. People download that manual for all kinds of reasons. What you do is compile data. You can't possibly investigate all 50K people who downloaded it, but you can put them in a database and cross-reference it with other such flags. You narrow the list by the people who display the most flags. It's not a perfect system but its the best you can do.

I don't know what to say to the people of Europe and the U.K anymore. You're getting mown down like wheat and your leaders still have the immigrant floodgates open. Still preaching acceptance and tolerance, living behind walls and massive security, while your people are dying in the street.
It all comes down to this : What are you prepared to do about it? Are you yet sick of wondering when and where the next one is going to hit?

Not if, when.

Then you need to articulate your point better. As it stands, you are advocating for group-think and targeting those that do not believe what the group thinks.

In the name of National Security I sure as hell can and would. It wouldn't be the first time.
If they are on MI5's list of suspects why wait until the act has been committed? Tell that to tonight's victims or Manchesters'
"Oh so sorry we could have stopped him but thought it best to let him bomb you all so we don't upset the liberals and get called racist"

sigh

I never said it did. But, I think you'll agree that MI5 has to, after the download, investigate the downloader - no?

How many trained personnel, working to monitor Islamic extremism in our country (never mind monitoring Islamists in other countries too) do you imagine there are?

Why do you think they continue to come to countries they despise? And don't bloody say for a better life because they bring that life with them
So go on why do they still keep on coming?

No, because they can't investigate that many people. They do like I said a few posts up. Compile, cross reference, narrow. Will it catch everyone? No. Neither will trying to find enough resources to investigate 50K people who downloaded a document.

That's what I fear. You advocate for pre-crime actions that would violate individual liberties to satisfy the fears of the spineless.

There is literally no way to stop this.

Nothing can be done.

If you're a sloth, maybe.

There's a way, and we will find it sooner or later.

Let me rephrase:

There is literally no way to stop this, short of becoming base beasts like them.

Then there is the answer!

Gotta out crazy them. Like Vlad the Impaler did.

There are those who will willingly shoulder the task of doing just that and allow not only our children to be free from this threat, but allow the weaker of resolve to sit upon their pedestals and feel superior to we who would be dogs of war. There are all sorts of personalities in the world.... if a certain kind is ever let loose to meet this threat head on, it will be a dark day... but a brighter future. Vlad was ( and IS today) a national hero to those who he protected and seen as a beast by those who he defeated ( or sent running back to their own lands).

Deport all Muslims that have ever expressed support for terrorism, ISIS, al Qaeda and the like. If that doesnt work, deport the rest. Let them all live in their Islamic utopias with each other.

No, I dont think all muslims are bad people. Not at all. Yes I think Islam is a bad religion. Its the only religion I think is completely unworkable as it is in modern society.

We also have a huge problem with our own governments. They are full of elite rulers that use people as fodder for their bank accounts and power games. They are so insulated from reality that things like war and terrorism are like a game to them.

Sjws need to be countered, not bowed to. Its a poisonous ideology that could entirely destroy western civilization. I say this as someone that is extremely polite to people and support everyones right to be as weird as they want as long as its not hurting someone else.

If all that happens, maybe we can move on to hugs. Until then, keeping that 2nd amendment ready for any scum. Be they listed above or not.
