No, no, no. The question is which side of US are you actually fighting for to begin with?
Blaming other countries are a way in to be a cannon fodder.

I can tell you the US is far from perfect. Some don't like it much at all. I happen to like it just fine, considering my other options and how i feel about them.

But nationalism is the same as racism. So being a "traitor" for not embracing nationalism seems ok to me.

In WW2 Americans came to fight for Britain in the two years the US kept out of the War. There were large numbers of Southern Irish who also fought against fascism, even though their government was neutral. Countries over-run by the Nazis also contributed soldiers to the cause, with Poles, French and many other nations joining (and continuing) the fight. Many fought and died in occupied Europe and the Far East, some working in great peril and danger.

WW3 is not here. If it was, I would always support the cause that fights totalitarianism and authoritarianism.

Well Halfoldman, if you were born in SA and the SHTF and you aligned yourself to the US and not SA you would be deemed a traitor and either shot or imprisoned. there are many, many instances where people from a different country fought for another country. Funny you should mention China because in the 2 ww there were Americans fighting in a Chinese air force before the US entered the war.

Historically a lot of armies were not what we think.

We think of ideology today and immediately think "racism".

But there were black and Asian people fighting for the Nazis.

Similarly it's an unpopular point, but there were black people fighting for Apartheid South Africa.
