You say we are willfully ignorant, and yet we source everything and back up our claims.

I have yet to see you back up anything you post.

You just like to hyperbolize what amounts to nothing but online rumors.

There are two options for Trump supporters. Ignorance or Willful Ignorance. Just being honest. Either you really don't know that he attracts racists, and bigots, and dishes out 4th grade insults, and yes, called on Russia to hack and release emails to defeat his opponent.... or you know and choose to pretend otherwise. Ignorance or Willful ignorance. That's honestly your only moves.

I have also seen many Trump supporters who do choose to be ignorant about the issues. Mainly those who only support Trump but do not know much of anything about the other candidates.

What is your excuse for choosing to remain ignorant about Hillary?

"Fact is Trump called on Russia to hack U.S. servers to help him beat his political opponent."

That is a lie.

No, it's semantics. It's pretty obvious what he was saying, and is completely in line with his character.

Whats funny is people actually took Trump seriously when he said for russia to hack away as a joke.

Apparently the list of things that Trump says which we should not take seriously grows each day. Why don't we just cut to the chase and say... Don't take Trump seriously at all. His campaign is a joke.

This is the DNC convention thread. So far the best joke has been the first two days and the incompetence of the DNC getting their servers hacked and all their emails displayed to the world. I think we can all join in laughing at that, regardless of which side we're on.

Exactly - their campaign is incompetent. They keep shooting themselves in the foot.
Either that or they know something much worse is coming and they are trying to limit the damage through spin and pR. Won't work though.

I'm not so sure that Trump meant he wanted Russia to hack Hillary's server, but his statement is still very questionable. He still said that if they happened to have engaged in espionage and collected the 33,000 emails, our press would reward them for it.

Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press

That is a very odd thing for a candidate to say. Not very smart on his part.

Misdirection just like so called 'plagiarism'

Watch what the right hand is doing, and ignoring the left hand HAS DONE.

Can't build a firewall as another poster says.

So hand them over the keys to the car.

NO THANKS.

How is it going to get worse? They called the latino vote "taco bowl engagement". Had anyone else done that the entire country would have melted down. The Congressional Hispanic Caucus, United farm workers of america, La Raza and other representatives have been silent. The MSM has been silent.

Actually, the first two days went pretty well. They've been able to effectively get their messages out and remained overwhelmingly positive, to contrast themselves to the GOP convention, which was very negative.

For once we almost agree. It is a odd thing to say when you are running for president.

I think it is smart on his part... no real blow back if nothing happens.... deleted emails do get released, he gets the Oval Office.

If nothing happens this will be long forgotten next month if it takes that long.

Plus it gets him tons of free air time.

They've been quiet because they know that the email was in reference to Donald's taco bowl stunt on Cinco de Mayo.

Trump is directly referenced in that email and just because the Right can't seem to understand what's going on, doesn't mean the rest of us do not.

I agree that nothing of substance will come of this, but it does give us an opportunity to see who the hypocrites are. If Hillary would have done this, the Right would be in meltdown. Trump says it and now they are concerned about context and how it will just gain free press for him.

The Washington Post‘s Philip Bump wrote: “Trump isn’t trying to appeal to Hispanics here. He’s trying to appeal to the other tourists, which is to say non-Hispanic white people.” He added: “Trump is mostly doing this to troll us, and we took the bait, and we can’t help it, and oh, man, Election Day is still so far away.”

SPIN it however you want had a GOP person called latinos "taco bowl outreach"(sorry i used engagement earlier) the world would have ended, but its ok for DEM people to do that.

The Democrat Party has zero credibility left on many
of their platform issues after this leak.

This issue especially, more emails found that prove
this issue of immigration is just a talking point
they use as a way to divide the nation.

They hold views that are more extreme
than Republicans, but they were keeping it a
secret. Well, its all out in the open now.

Hardly. Trump has said worse things than that and he has walked away from it without any question from his supporters.

You can read the email at the following link. The email was sent the day after Trumps taco salad.

Only after they silenced all the Bernie supporters.

The unity and togetherness is an illusion.
