For the first time in years, I have hope for the future.

We seriously NEED this change.

That was so awesome.

That was a phenomenal speech.

His passion was palpable as was his frustration with the status quo. He hit so many points that make so much sense.

I will say that I am personally a bit turned off on the religious overtones of some of the items mentioned not just by him but other speakers as well.

I don't think the abortion issue needs to be revisited for example. I don't think it should be illegal but I don't think it should be a convenient means of birth control; that's a personal opinion though and one I don't feel is my right or duty to press on others as long as I have the right to be able to express said opinion.

I sure hope the space program gets put back on track and we begin to see large strides toward leading in that industry.

Do you not realize, that all of those problems are actually TRUE?

No, I do not realize those problems are true ... because they aren't.

Compare figures for international attitudes toward the US with those from 2008.

Read any headline today about the reaction of NATO to this maniac's ramblings.

In fact, take any rational measure on any factual spectrum you care to, and you will see that this speech is pure fascist propaganda.

Understanding history being a history major I can assure you nothing he said was fascist. Thus has been used before in amarican politics. You have Franklin Rosevelt and his promises to CAH ge amarica and again Ronald Reagan. Where amarica first was what got him elected.

I'm honestly happy for Trump and his family. America just did not need anymore drama coming out of this convention. Let the issues be the debate, not the theatrics.

I like your style, kosmicjack.

You ignored the fact that Palpatine played the role of a weak, sensitive, politically correct apologist to push his hidden agenda.

Sound familiar?

Hillary has been a complete ghost for the last few months. She went over 200 days without giving a press conference, I wonder what she is afraid of...

I think that's a smart decision.

She could sneeze and the GOP would fuel the fires with it.

Advocating for a political candidate or issue from the pulpit is prohibited. Prayer and worship, no problem.

Nominees always say exciting things, but in the back of your mind, you know they're just saying it to win the Presidency.

I don't get that feeling at all with Donald Trump. Granted, he won't be able to get EVERYTHING, due to the balance of power built into our system, but HE WILL TRY HARDER than any President in recent memory. He certainly won't be afraid to visit Capital Hill, like Obama has been for 8 years.
