To some, the issue might be Muslims, not guns..

The sexual orientation of the people in the club may have been a bigger motivation than the suspects religion. I believe another member posted that his father said seeing two men kissing set him off.

I wonder if it was more than him just 'seeing it'. I wonder if he had a look of revulsion on his face ... and then one of 'em winked at him.

Sometimes ... there's more to it 'than meets the eye'.

To be fair, I think most would prefer that violence was denounced on a more regular basis, not just AFTER it happens and that people who are becoming radicalized are reigned in by their community BEFORE something like this happens.

But, I''m not totally convinced it had only to do with his religion, based on his father's comments.

Second shooter was already debunked. It was a police officer, I believe there was word he was off duty doing basically bouncing for the club.

Without too much information, It may have been a hate crime? We will have to wait and see.

Holy crap! This is what I wake up to? 50 people murdered, 50 people injured, blood everywhere, hate crime, act of terrorism, state of emergency, shooter killed.

May the shooter forever be tormented. May he forever suffer and never rest.


As for the innocent, may the dance like no ones watching in Heaven. RIP.

What an awful story. I'm blown away by this.

Because initial reports on any thing when an event is still emergent are never wrong..

That doesn't indicate any thing other than the fact that human perception is not infallible.

What about the always reliable eyewitness accounts that there were three shooters?

Will just point out that the always reliable eyewitnesses, and several on ATS, identified responding law enforcement units at San Bernardino as "shooters" and not law enforcement. And that was in broad daylight.

Im a fan of unlcensed carry. Unfortunately, with it being a bar....even with a license (in Texas, anyway), no one would have been able to protect themselves.
