Can anyone give me a real reason Bernie is bad for America?

Pfizer and Glaxo spend millions of dollars lobbying, they have the best lawyers and they have judges and the government in their back pockets.
It's an old classic.

France is rated the TOP nation in the world for healthcare...

What's that you say? France just announced EMERGENCY economic measures because their job growth has been steadily declining, large numbers of their citizens are broke, and Hollande basically admitted the current system is working??

Say it isn't so! But that healthcare!! Remember healthcare! Cuber everyone. Cuber!

It is not about healthcare. And why you make fun of how someone pronounces Cuba is beyond me, there must be people on this site with that accent.

you should know better.

You mean, the New York Jewish accent has never been made fun of before??

My oh my...I must have stepped into some SAFE SPACE and offended the planet!!

I believe the old Bern penned something about Women and rape along with other quotes..

Makes me wonder what kind of a Woman would support a Jackass like him.

That's nothing. Bernie was the leader of the "Jesse Jackson for President" coalition.

No, seriously.

1. Minimum wage hikes don't do very much, actually. Prices just increase - While it's not the smartest thing ever, it's not nation breaking.

2. "The least we could say is no one goes hungry " Is far, far from a radical idea.

3. He wants to get us out of wars, and tax the rich on money they hide, and find loop holes to not pay. His ideas are not extremely more costly than projected spending with any president ( can you imagine how much trumps "bomb the world" campaign will be? )

4. He wants to raise taxes on the rich, and ensure they actually pay taxes. Many rich people pay less effective taxes than a nurse...

5. Universal healthcare is proven to be sustainable in most first-world nations.

6. I don't like unions either, but corporations are far over-reaching, something needs to be done, though I admit.. I'm not as much in favor of unions.

7. Many presidents are - This I am against, though.

Reasons why Sanders would be good for America:

1.) he wants to raise minimum wage.

2.) he wants to expand the welfare state.

3.) he wants to increase govt spending.

4.) he wants to raise taxes, drastically.

5.) he wants to make healthcare universal.

6.) he's a total union whore!!

7.) he's for an assault weapon ban and a ban of semi auto rifles!!

Any company of any size that wants to survive has to be involved in lobbying. My husband is part of a lobbying committee for the animal health industry as a whole.

And as part of that activity, he comes into contact with government regulators. They are just as human, fallible, corruptible as anyone else.

But, hey! Let's put more of them in charge and create even more potential for the abuse you are upset about now.

snopes

Michael Briggs, Sanders' campaign spokesman, said the article was a "dumb attempt at dark satire in an alternative publication" that "in no way reflects his views or record on women. It was intended to attack gender stereotypes of the '70s, but it looks as stupid today as it was then."

These quotes were from a 1 page article in 1972.

From the 1972 article:

"Many women seem to be walking a tightrope," he writes, as their "qualities of love, openness, and gentleness were too deeply enmeshed with qualities of dependency, subservience, and masochism."

Sanders Sanders then goes on to explain his ideas about gender roles and eventually gets at a sharper point — that traditional gender roles help create troubling dynamics in men's and women's sex lives.

This, was later twisted to make Sanders look like a nut. However, worse quotes from conservative lawmakers in the last 2 years can be found, which they actually BELIEVED. The quotes weren't part of a longer discussion on gender roles.

I would hope that 'clash daily' isn't taken seriously and that people read the original article.

I actually do a top notch Bernie impression. My friends and family ask me to do it at gatherings. It's actually pretty good. Wish I could showcase it in text.

It is no different than any article about gender roles in the '70s. It was also satire, not the point of the article. I did take 'Women's Studies' in University. My major was English Lit. I can see how this is NOT creepy.

But you know, let's dig up an article from 1972 and NOT put it in perspective.

-Clearly you haven't actually looked at his tax plan, because taxing somebody 7000 that makes 18 grand a year doesn't solve any problems.

In Bernie's America...

We would all be 'educated', visiting Doctors weekly, Socially 'aware' and full of justice, Unionized, broke, well mannered, huddled in our living rooms with books and candles, nobody would be racist, we would all have a business...making candles and re-purposing end tables for yard sales, we would all ride bikes and take the subway, and we would all have GREAT TEETH.

I think I'M CLOSE.
