And you are correct. It is just a conspiracy theory I have about the flag being banned. Which would probably be better posted on a conspiracy si-. . . . . wait, what?

Ain't conspiracy theories what we do on ATS ?

every piece of legislation.

Two groups 'vote' who ever has the most votes 'wins'.

Yes, Neo. That's how things are done in a representative republic.

But conspiracy theories probably should be politically correct now.

You know, run by a censor first to make sure that they are pre-approved.

I bet we'd see several volunteer for the job!

That's what I was afraid of.

And that's why I believe that people just like yourself would support a ban.

I don't think too much of PC.

Hell it is because of PC the confederate flag is such a hot topic.

I guess some people want a rose color view of American history instead of being taught it's actual history. That hasn't been very pretty.

Think King George did some flag banning of his own.

It's funny you say this, but I'd be willing to place money on the fact that if asked about the reasons the South fought the war, you would insist it was over "States' Rights" more than anything else.

Sure the hell wasn't over 'freeing the slaves' considering what was done to the Native Americans.

What was it fought over ?

The right for AAs to be free while the Native American were slaughter and put on 'fema camps' of there day.

Oh yeah the Civil War was really some 'noble cause' wasn't it.

Then after that enslaved the Chinese to build our rail roads.

Oh hell how awesome the 'north' was.

See. I knew what the answer would have been even if I didn't ask it. Thanks for all the red herrings by the way. They were completely useless in the context of my argument, but I'm sure you feel happier for having posted them.

Not really.

Tell me, do you see a difference between supporting a ban and supporting a politician who supports a ban?

Name one politician who is in support of banning the Confederate Flag.

Wait what ?

American Chinese slave labor, and the round up, and extermination of the indigenous population here doesn't have anything to do with slavery ?

It sure does, and points out just how inconsistent that era was.

But hey never mind all that people cry about a flag while IGNORING what else went on at the same time.

Robert Byrd when he was alive sure didn't want it banned.

Guess which party he was from.

It was really a simple question.

Do you want to ansswer?

I don't care, because that wasn't a proper answer to my question. In fact it was the exact opposite of what I was asking.

Not in the context of this argument. Though I may support a politician who supports a ban because he stands for other issues I agree with and the choices between politicians are limited.

Should care the guy was a Senator, and a big time RACIST.

Or does 'caring' only extend to flags.
