I've recently learned about how the State of Israel was created. They basically invaded (because they believe God gave them this land), started a War, were supported by the Western Powers (NATO, US, UK, France, etc), displaced (& murdered) an estmated 700,000 people, destroyed their homes & villages (still done today as seen in your video) and continue to take land & murder innocent people.

Visit of Menachem Begin and Aims of Political Movement Discussed

TO THE EDITORS OF THE NEW YORK TIMES:

Among the most disturbing political phenomena of our times is the emergence in the newly created state of Israel of the “Freedom Party” (Tnuat Haherut), a political party closely akin in its organization, methods, political philosophy and social appeal to the Nazi and Fascist parties. It was formed out of the membership and following of the former Irgun Zvai Leumi, a terrorist, right-wing, chauvinist organization in Palestine.

The current visit of Menachem Begin, leader of this party, to the United States is obviously calculated to give the impression of American support for his party in the coming Israeli elections, and to cement political ties with conservative Zionist elements in the United States. Several Americans of national repute have lent their names to welcome his visit. It is inconceivable that those who oppose fascism throughout the world, if correctly informed as to Mr. Begin’s political record and perspectives, could add their names and support to the movement he represents.

Before irreparable damage is done by way of financial contributions, public manifestations in Begin’s behalf, and the creation in Palestine of the impression that a large segment of America supports Fascist elements in Israel, the American public must be informed as to the record and objectives of Mr. Begin and his movement.

The public avowals of Begin’s party are no guide whatever to its actual character. Today they speak of freedom, democracy and anti-imperialism, whereas until recently they openly preached the doctrine of the Fascist state. It is in its actions that the terrorist party betrays its real character; from its past actions we can judge what it may be expected to do in the future.

Attack on Arab Village

A shocking example was their behavior in the Arab village of Deir Yassin. This village, off the main roads and surrounded by Jewish lands, had taken no part in the war, and had even fought off Arab bands who wanted to use the village as their base. On April 9 (THE NEW YORK TIMES), terrorist bands attacked this peaceful village, which was not a military objective in the fighting, killed most of its inhabitants (240 men, women, and children) and kept a few of them alive to parade as captives through the streets of Jerusalem. Most of the Jewish community was horrified at the deed, and the Jewish Agency sent a telegram of apology to King Abdullah of Trans-Jordan. But the terrorists, far from being ashamed of their act, were proud of this massacre, publicized it widely, and invited all the foreign correspondents present in the country to view the heaped corpses and the general havoc at Deir Yassin.

The Deir Yassin incident exemplifies the character and actions of the Freedom Party.

Within the Jewish community they have preached an admixture of ultranationalism, religious mysticism, and racial superiority. Like other Fascist parties they have been used to break strikes, and have themselves pressed for the destruction of free trade unions. In their stead they have proposed corporate unions on the Italian Fascist model.

During the last years of sporadic anti-British violence, the IZL and Stern groups inaugurated a reign of terror in the Palestine Jewish community. Teachers were beaten up for speaking against them, adults were shot for not letting their children join them. By gangster methods, beatings, window-smashing, and wide-spread robberies, the terrorists intimidated the population and exacted a heavy tribute.

The people of the Freedom Party have had no part in the constructive achievements in Palestine. They have reclaimed no land, built no settlements, and only detracted from the Jewish defense activity. Their much-publicized immigration endeavors were minute, and devoted mainly to bringing in Fascist compatriots.

Discrepancies Seen

The discrepancies between the bold claims now being made by Begin and his party, and their record of past performance in Palestine bear the imprint of no ordinary political party. This is the unmistakable stamp of a Fascist party for whom terrorism (against Jews, Arabs, and British alike), and misrepresentation are means, and a “Leader State” is the goal.

In the light of the foregoing considerations, it is imperative that the truth about Mr. Begin and his movement be made known in this country. It is all the more tragic that the top leadership of American Zionism has refused to campaign against Begin’s efforts, or even to expose to its own constituents the dangers to Israel from support to Begin.

The undersigned therefore take this means of publicly presenting a few salient facts concerning Begin and his party; and of urging all concerned not to support this latest manifestation of fascism.

Well said. I myself am Jewish and I have a friend from Palestine, and although we may make a joke here and there about each other we are good friends. We do not have to fight because there is nothing to fight over. We share the same land, and thus share the same respect for each other.

Man this world is upside down and backwards. So Isreal is the bad guy now eh? They stand in the midst of enemies who all want to see them exterminated from the Earth. Everyone over there wants that land and now, apparently because Isreal has it and is unwilling to step aside, all 7.4 million of them, they are being portrayed as villainous for fighting back. Some of you guys seem to forget that the people you're supporting here, the Palestinians, would also see the Isrealis genocided. What the Palestinians need is their own state with proper borders that they may call home. So who do you think is willing to give up some of their land to them? Egypt? Syria? Iraq? Iran? I doubt it. And even if they did, do you really think Palestinians would accept? Nope. They want Isreal. And the worst part? Many seem to hate Isreal for clinging to the land they have because they believe God gave it to them. WHY THE HECK DO YOU THINK THE ENTIRE MUSLIM WORLD, INCLUDING PALESTINIANS, WANT IT?? Same reason folks. Youre victims are propogandists all the same.

Truth be told, the Isrealis have time and time again tried to have peace talks with the Palestinians. They have made concessions over and over, but because they are unwilling to concede to everything the Palestinians want, Palestinians scrap it all. Its all or nothing with them. The attacks youre showing where Isrealis are so evil are, I highly doubt, unprovoked. Palestinians are largely a muslim people and the general muslim consensus of the area is a distain for the Isrealis. When that attitude changes, when the muslim world, and the true terrorist leaders step out and renounce the hatred proclaimed against Isreal and lay down arms against them, if at that time Isrealis are still attacking Palestinians, then and only then will I believe that the Isrealis are the terrorists.

Sorry, but too much have we seen anti Isreali sentiment coming form everyone in the Middle East for me to believe that the Isreali forces are acting unprovoked. Too many lives have Muslim extremists taken for me to believe they are victims. The bad taste of 9-11 is still in my mouth to boot.

While it is true that the real victims here are the children involved who have no idea what is going on, the truth is that A) The Palestinian leaders are, at least minimally, at fault for the fate of their own children thanks to all the shennanigans theyve pulled, and B) Plenty of Isreali children have been victims to the attacks by Hezbollah and various other terrorist organizations bent on the destruction of the Isreali people. Now theyre using bleeding heart liberals, who share equal distain for Isreal, to paint them as innocent victims.

Israel is the smallest nation to ever defeat the United States military. When they attacked and killed all those people on the U.S.S. Liberty. No one suggests that Palestinians should take over Israel as a solution. This world is not black and white. There doesn't have to be a winner or a loser. No one here is suggesting Israel should "cease to exist" etc.

However, what most are suggesting, and alluding to, is that Israel needs to tone down it's killing of civilians. You cannot claim that it is "Palestine vs Israel". It is not. It is splinter factions and "terrorist" organizations within Palestine, fighting against Israel, and it is the entirety of Israel and it's sanctioned army as an opponent. Most Americans don't honestly care if that region burns or not. It's just not worth it.

I'm Jewish and I have to say seeing this type of thing honestly disgusts me. It makes me think "Oh God, what have they come to?" Classic case of the bullied becoming even bigger bullies. [Fornicate] You Israel!

The frequency of these killings have made them almost appear as if they are part of the normal daily life, and so the media no longer view these incidents as anything out of the ordinary.

Wow......I knew the result but i looked it up anyway, For a Justin bieber video from a year ago has 548,879,369 views. And this informative educational actually very important video from like 3 years ago has 335,452 views. the majority of humans are absolute crap, I truly believe this. History does not bear this out. Why does it matter who has what land? Live where you are and if someone comes for you, leave. If all the Jews can come to one place and make a nation, why can't the Arabs do the same thing somewhere else?

I can tell you first hand that yes I have seen people in the middle east use woman and children as a shield while a man stood in the middle of them with an RPG.

I recently saw a video made by Israeli soldiers who have decided to speak out about Israeli war crimes. One of them describes how they are ordered to use Palestinians, including children. to send them into a house first, before the Israeli military personnel enter the property, so that if it's booby trapped, the Palestinian is killed, not them.

What make me sick is when Binyamin Netanyahu sits next to Obama and pours is murdering heart out on telly about how israel children have neen killed in a speech last thursday painting a picture that israel wants peace and we doing everything we can I wanted to switch the telly off but i also wanted to listen to the propaganda.

The whole international community knows israel and the US goverment have dragged there feet over this so called peace process. It won't be long before america and israel will feel isolated from the international community
