I don't think so. There were many lost gospels which were purposely hidden or deleted from the bible. The BBC documentary "the lost gospels" does a good job of telling the story about these.

I broke away from islam, this is part why. Illogical, confusing, contradictory. What's wrong with having 1 clear message for mankind? Why the many interpretations? I noticed islam is nothing but lore and myth. Ithink there may be some hidden truths in islam though. When people asked muhammed when end of world was, he raised 2 fingers. To represent 2012 or. 2011 maybe?

Where is the controversy here ?

Djinn are also known by ordinary muslims too .


Allah claims this book to be true .

Allah also claims to be the creator of all .

If you don't believe in Islam , you do not need to pay attention to this message from Kuran .

I would like to make an important point that as far as I know hasn't been voiced yet in this thread. Despite the existence or non-existence of scientific evidences or personal witness accounts, there is still the very heavy fact of the sheer numbers of believers that ascribe to these "jinn."

As estimated by Pew Forums, there are approximately 1.57 BILLION Muslims in the world.

Know, do all of them believe in the jinn and their powers/persuasions? Maybe not, but at the very least there are hundreds of millions of people that believe in variances of their descriptions. This is a very powerful negation towards any proofs/non-proofs you bring to the table.

Compounded by that, you have the Christians whom believe in Lucifer and his demons, which bear a strikingly acute analogue to the jinn. Are they the same thing? Maybe not be textual/cultural definition, but in practice their behaviors/activities are almost synonymous. It is hard to believe that with BILLIONS of people ascribing to portions or totalities of the descriptions of jinn/demons that there is no credence to the "argument."

To those that flippantly say, "Jinn? No such thing as the Jinn buddy!" Go up to a Muslim or group of Muslims and tell them their religion is a mar on the Earth, that has brought only lies and evil to mankind. Tell them disparaging things regarding Muhammad. See how far your scientific rationale gets you then.
