Vatican Calls Verbal Attack on Pope "terrorism"

www.rawstory.com

ROME (Reuters) - The Vatican's official newspaper accused an Italian comedian on Wednesday of "terrorism" for criticizing the Pope...

"This, too, is terrorism. It's terrorism to launch attacks on the Church," it said. "It's terrorism to stoke blind and irrational rage against someone who always speaks in the name of love, love for life and love for man."

Ummm... yeah I got your "terrorism" right here!

This is the former Hitler youth we are talking about right?

The Nazi Pope who leads the crusading, witch hunting, heretic burning, book burning, anti-science, we know what's good for you Catholic Church who wants to tell us how to live our lives?

Pot, meet kettle.

I must be a terrorist.

I dont like the pope simply because it goes against mmy Christian values. You are not supposed to hold ANY man to the same esteem as God or Jesus and that is what alot of people do with regards to the pope (Plus something about the current one just never sat right with me everytime i see him...but i cant put my finger on it). So if that makes me a terrorist...then just add that to my resume....

Well he can go to hell. Why? Because of his stance on contraception that lead to millions of HIV infections in africa and a lot of other stuff that the Vatican did for those hundred of years.

I am not sure, but I think this is more of the current wave of the future, where saying anything that someone in power disagrees with could be construed as an act of terrorism. Once it was acceptable, but now it is becoming to the point people can not voice a dissenting opinion. And it is slowly spreding everywhere.

Gools, you have a lot of anti-catholic sentiment.
The Pope is God's representative on earth. As such
he can only transfer to the best of his abilities as a
mortal human what God wants to say to us. He
advocates nothing but love for our fellow. Respect that.

True, he was a member of the Hitler-youth, but that
does that mean his worth as a person is perpetually
inconsequential? Benedict advocates love and tolerance,
why do you wish to negate this message, do you disagree
with it?
