You can protest a political issue large scale, you are not permitted to do the same against a non-political entity without being charged with disturbing the peace and/or unlawful assembly.
What ? Did i read that correctly ?
So if a business decides to relocate overseas with a loss of lets say 5,000 jobs, those 5,000 employee's cannot hold a protest on the streets outside of their place of work to try and save their jobs ?
If that is what you are saying then that is ludicrous and wrong.

"Outside of their place of work" yes... raging from one end of the city to the other? Not so much. Obviously work related protests are a bit of an in between issue, but to conduct this type of wide spread roaming the city streets mass protests will land you in court and, if you can't call it a political protest, you'll lose in court over it unless you hold an assembly permit.

Those would be political protests in the US, with people demanding Congress or their state/city government increase minimum wage laws.
The police report, a year after the riot, estimated the crowd at 200,000.

Careful what you wish for, lest in future, you are a "terrorist" in someones eyes.

People out of work, lots of time on their hands, locked up in quarantines, fed fear for weeks and months, perfect storm for any excuse to riot, just needed a spark and boom.

As we cities burning all over america tonight, look back on this thread and see how some peoples big concern was not labeling these people terroists, and how we should not use the national guard.

You seem to not understand what the Boston tea party was about. Again context is key and you just can’t see it. The tea coming from England was being heavily taxed and the Americans didn’t want to pay the tax, so they destroyed the tea instead, a very distinct and clear message to the British authority.
Burning target and stealing a tv, what’s the clear and distinct message that is being sent hear? Enlighten us...

Perhaps they’re showing you what it feels like to be powerless to stop violence against “your people.”
That’s the easiest low-hanging fruit. When you push people, someday, they push back.
But keep believing this is just about George Floyd.
