There are Americans that could attest to the same, sadly.

Arabs have lived continuously in Palestine for 1,000 years.
Those who now claim Israel haven't lived there for 2,000 years.

Just because a piece of land isn't a state doesn't mean it's not someone's home.
Britain had no right to tell anyone that wasn't already living there they could have that land
It took many years of terrorism to drive both the British and the native Palestinian population out.

Palestinians need to grow up and join the rest of the world.
They are the ones that are the aggressors and suppress woman and brainwash their children

Are you kidding me? They're being illegally occupied, and Israel just keeps building more and more illegal settlements.

Gaza is Occupied?????? By who?

Aggressors would be those people trying to invade another countries border. Hamas knew exactly what they were doing by encouraging the Masses to try and storm the border.

Did anyone think the Israelis would stand for letting them crash the border?

Dozens killed in Gaza as US Embassy opens in Jerusalem

Dozens killed trying to cross from Gaza into Israel to violently protest as US Embassy opens in Jerusalem . A failed attempt to infiltrate the opening and blowing themselves up.
There , fixed your title for you.

LOL.

You do realize we are speaking about Gaza, right? ....and you were speaking in the present tense. So who exactly is occupying Gaza now and building even more settlements there?

To me the 'recognition' of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is a first step to defining that it is a place that is shared. Always has been. Always will be. The main issue is that Palestine is being used. Much like Syria but for a lot longer. Palestinians are descended from the Jewish people. Over time 'arabs' have taken control.

There is NO reason they cannot all live there together. Well, except the PLO does not want it....

Don't be obtuse. These protests aren't about the Gaza Strip!

The protests are taking place, and therefore the violence is occuring at the border on the Gaza Strip right now. The location of this massacre has little bearing on Israel's illegal settlements and occupation of the Palistinian people. The international community doesn't recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capitol, where the new American Embassy is located.

Israel is illegally occupying Jerusalem and continues to built illegal settlements in Palistinian territory.

Like the West Bank, East Jerusalem has been occupied by Israel since 1967 — which is illegal under international law. But Israel’s method of control over the territory differs. In 1980, Israel unilaterally declared Jerusalem a unified city, effectively consolidating power over Palestinian East Jerusalem, which would be the future capital of an independent Palestine as envisioned under the two-state Oslo process.

Unlike Palestinian residents of West Jerusalem and the rest of Israel, Palestinians living in East Jerusalem are given a unique identification card, which — unlike their Palestinian neighbors in the West Bank – allows them to travel throughout Israel and the West Bank. However, they are not granted an Israeli passport nor can they vote in Israeli elections.

Israel maintains full civil control in East Jerusalem, where they provide municipal services, health insurance and building permits to the Palestinian residents. Under its control over East Jerusalem, Israel has increased the presence of settlers around Palestinian towns and left other physical barriers separating those towns from the West Bank. According to the Israeli human rights organization B'Tselem, about 40 percent of the residents in annexed East Jerusalem are Jews living in settlements or previously-owned Palestinian homes.

america.aljazeera.com...

The American Embassy move veers from almost seven decades of American policy, and that of much of the rest of the world, which considers the status of Jerusalem subject to negotiation between Israelis and Palestinians, who each claim it as their capital. Critics say the embassy move prejudges the outcome of any future negotiations over the city.

It s a pity the Israelites have not learned from their years of enslavement and torture implemented upon them. How to treat others with respect. They shall reap the seeds that they have planted.

Many years more of war and hell on earth, beget dharma and kharma will avail. Institutionlised religions create nothing but hatred, division and war. Israel is damned along with their stock puppet Western servants.

Yeah, someone has to man up and back down/dial it back to work it out, right?

Until then, gotta take the good with the bad.

Like that stupid chic that got herself run over by a bulldozer.

Real f'n smart that was.

Except that Jews have been living there for the past 3000 years. Most who today call themselves Palestinians are actually the descendants of arab migrants from the Arabian Peninsula.
When Britain left in 47 then land was split more or less based on demographic realities at the time. While the Jews accepted the plan, the Arabs wouldnt have it, went to war, lost and found themselves with even less territory than before. Sucks for the innocent but thats how it goes.

Terrible news. Today's protest was only a warm up for tomorrows marking the displacement of 100,000+ Palestinians.

Hopefully the snipers wont shoot so many kids tomorrow. Don't see how they can possibly claim to be innocent of war crimes here.

Israel has shown great restraint here with only a few dozen killed. They could have mowed them down like stalks of grass.

They mowed them down indiscriminately as couldn't see due to tyre fires. They wounded 2,700 and killed 55 most being kids according to BBC. That's over half the people there being shot. It's a #ing massacre. What possible defence is there for soldiers in a heavilly fortified compound designed to withstand multiple bomb blasts to shoot unarmed kids? What risk was posed to Israel?

Sends a GD message, DON"T DO IT!

Seems like the IDF sucks at shooting.

Most probably died being man handled by 1000 people on the way to where?

They just show them running with the "victim" in a tarp or blanket, wtf?
