A new Economist/Yougov poll was conducted on February 6th and 7th. The results were released today. If you're part of the Obama administration, or a Democrat seeking re-election, you may want to sit down. The results are some of the most damning numbers we've seen in ages.

The poll asked people who voted for Obama during the 2012 election a very basic question: "Do you regret voting for Barack Obama?”

71% of the total respondents answered "yes."
80% of white voters said "yes"
100% of Latino voters said "yes"
61% of men said "yes"
84% of women said "yes"
77% of voters age 35-44 said "yes"
77% of voters age 45-64 said "yes"
100% of voters over 65 said "yes"
71% of independents said "yes"

New poll: 71% of Obama voters regret their choice, as do 55% of Dems

Perhaps there's hope for Americans yet? Surprisingly, 26% of Black voters also expressed regret. Obama got 99% of the Black vote both times, IIRC.

Has any sitting president done well on the polls nearing the halfway point in their second term?

Breaking news:

Researchers have found that 90% of all statistics are either made up or biased.

Seriously, when was the last time a president was elected and people were like "I'm happy I voted for him." Every election, people are conned into voting for people they already knew would deceive the people. They do it because it is the "lesser evil." Well, if the lesser evil is what people wanted, Obama was a much better choice than Romney (can you believe Republicans even tried to get an idiot like him elected? That's like trying to get a guy like Chris Christie elected only worse). I think voting for the lesser evil is not an option. I have to answer to God. Until a righteous person is up for election (trust me, you will know them when you see them. They will be the people with all of the advertisements aimed at them and being slandered in the media, but they won't fire any shots back because they are concerned with the issues and not personal attacks), I am not voting.

"We told you so!"

I think some here could actually say that in complete honesty.

Just saying is all.

Sadly, the poll also finds that people appear to be more than willing to repeat their mistakes. While left-leaners might be eager to leave the Obama era in the dust, they're also ready to support Hillary Clinton. She enjoys a 50% favorable opinion, with 28% of that falling into the "very favorable" category. No one should underestimate that latter number.

This part of the poll was more than a bit depressing .

To this day I am still baffled as to how many were taken in by Obama.

It'll be no different when the next puppet is put in place by TPTB.

Its all a game, and THEY make the rules.

The poll was conducted by the "Hermain Cain TV" Web site, Herman Cain being a Republican candidate who lost out in the primaries (some might say, discraced) to his rivals.

You really expect this to be an unbiased poll? Cain was a failed Republican "tea party" activist who didn't make the cut.

PLEASE stop calling them "TPTB." You do realize that sounds like something out of a sci-fi fantasy show right?

The ruling class. Rich people. "TRC" if you want. 1% doesn't cut it because the ruling class is above the one percent. Whatever you do, please don't say "TPTB." It sounds...so....like something a psychologist at the CIA would think up and get you to start saying....

And yes, TRC (The Ruling Class) will be putting another puppet in place every year the vote is not protested and every year people do not demand a president who comes from the working class.

Now it all makes sense. I didn't have to know that to know that.

From hence forth the Tea Party shall be referred to as the AstroTurf Party. Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of corporate law.

People are finally waking up with a hopium and koolaid induced hangover regretting their decision? It's about time is all I've got to say. Now if we can just get everyone to collectively realize that the left/right voting choice given to them is two sides of the same coin.

But I thought polls were not to be trusted and did not speak for the majority?

O right it's a poll that supports your agenda so it must be true then

By the way, I HIGHLY doubt that the 60 million + Americans that voted for Obama regret voting for him, I think most would rather have him in office than some Right wing crazy.

Guess that's why this is called "Alternative News" forum?? Just a different bias than MSM?

How did I know someone would so ignorantly mention the Kool Aide? LMFAO!

"If you don't like fascists, you must be a communist or a socialist, and I really don't know the difference but it doesn't matter because it sounds bad for you."

If you are so against the left/right voting choice, AKA the ruling class or the ruling class, WHY ARE YOU MENTIONING THE KOOL AIDE!?

Yeah considering the Cain website linked it from ANOTHER website:

The Economist/ YouGov.

Actually it has more credibility than Obama, and his defenders have, and the way the midterms are shaping up looks like the left is going to get their butts handed to them.

I think this poll is tainted.

With all the massive failures and lies, the real number is more like 90%.

The hopeium and nannywanna is dying out.

Who in their right mind could still think Obama is a success for the majority of citizens?

Die hard believers do.

No one in their right mind does. Only those with rose colored glasses do.
