Basically, they're "bread" sticks made with cauliflower instead of bread. I'm feeling adventurous, and supposedly these are healthier (with all the cheese I put in them...someone forgot to tell me the cheese part is "in moderation"). I've never made these before, so as long as I don't set the place on fire, they should be quite tasty.

They sound lovely. You should gets soft cheese dip to go with them too, never mind healthy.

I'm going to have to get snacks now hehe.

Darn, I knew I was missing something - forgot to get something to dip them in. I've got a feeling these will come out better than the stuffed mushrooms I made last week - those came out almost perfect, except that they could have stayed in a little longer.

Ah...cauliflower version of macaroni cheese, sounds like. I love broccoli cheese..nomnom!
Oh, here's a little tip for macaroni cheese. Crush up a bag or two of cheese and onion crisps, scatter over the macaroni before grating cheese on top and slamming under the grill to melt. Stops the cheese melting into the macaroni cheese and gives the topping a 'crispyness'
Owwww...making myself hungry now! Well at least that's tomorrow...sorry tonight's tea sorted!

PS....here's another one for PRUNES....quarter up a dozen prunes into your bolognese sauce....I know it sounds disgusting....but trust me, it's a great twist to your bolognese!

Aha, I knew there was a secret to getting macaroni & cheese with the crusty part on top - Thanks Jane!

If only smells could be sent through the internet, because these things smell just like breadsticks, and seeing as I've got a bit of synesthesia when it comes to smells and tastes; if they smell like breadsticks and look like breadsticks, they'll taste like them **drool**

Glad to have helped with the MacCheese!....I had to make it without crisps once (ready salted will do too) kids could tell of course and moaned all the way through it!

There are 3 threads on ATS that I personally favour, this one,The morning coffee thread and obviously BTS avatar creations 2014 All of them full of good people. And all of them fun to hang around, they are all bolt holes where a laugh can be had and friends can be made.
