Also strange if he had this staging cabin all set up, and then go and tie up people in another cabin and steal their car. Seems he would have had a car already that would have carried the stuff he has stashed in this cabin he's in now.

I guess we'll find out, or not, later.

Captain Janks a Howard Stern fan has gotten through to national and local coverage of everything from the OJ Chase and with the exception of 9/11, every other breaking news event

This is the craziest crap I have ever seen in my life...now KCBS 2 news is getting pranked on live TV....how do we even know the reported gunshots were real? Or that they were shooting at Dorner?

If this were all going on...there's just no way this guy can escape....this is insane at this point. Also, you all know it's legal for the police to lie in order to catch a suspect or conduct most official business (See ARGO). They can also enlist hollywood and reporters to do their dirty work and have done so in the past many times.

I got to see some proof...it's starting to smell fishy again. I do realize it's still early though.

A catalyst for me essentially live posting the coverage from KCAL (who has Carter Evans WITH LE in the shootout) is to see how much of the story changes from what is being reported live from the scene to the next version of the story

It will still take an hour to assemble and load SWAT and get them to that location even by a chopper

I don't believe any of this crap now....it seems staged...and it's perfectly legal to do so to catch a crook

I still can't believe they decided not to search an area full of cabins on the other side of the mountain from where Dorner's vehicle was found on Thursday

This area is almost to the bottom of the mountain, It's not really Big Bear where his is at now. Shame they are cutting out all helicopters now. We won't ever know what is going down now.

I wonder how this will impact the ability to continue live reports from the actual standoff by Carter Evans of KCAL
