Hmmm, according to the music it must be an ominous space creature out to do harm to the station!

Love that music on these vids.
Anyway, I was thinking reflection but I did not see any correlative light changes anywhere else on the craft, unless that piece is more reflective than the rest of the station.

Yup, light reflection seems unlikely IMO, like you said seems like it would reflect on other parts of the craft too...

Space caterpillar judging by the way its moving

S+F for this as I'm also intrigued as to what this thing is, hopefully someone far more intelligent than me will come along and enlighten us soon.

[snip]

Its a light spot and its moving so maybe it a light reflection dont you think? The fact there is only a few seconds of film is very suspicious You could probably tell it was a light a few seconds before and after time shown and thats why its such a short vid. Or it only moves from one point to another which would sugest its a spot of light that is being reflected off something on the ISS that moved for a few seconds before stopping.

[snip]

Ice crystals is another possibility, it is mentioned in my second related link and video.

A video and 10 words by the OP. Whats with all the minimal posts on ATS? I read in the rules for this site that you had to 'make very post count' and minimal posts could be removed.

it was put there for total newbies so they could understand about contributing to a thread.

signals has clearly already earned enough respect on this site for this not to be so applicable. besides which, as was already said, what else is there to say in a first post?

i don't think it's light, it looks like a space bug, hopefully a cool one!

Did you also read the part about off-topic posts? There is an alert button if the thread bothers you.....

As for making "every post count", what does your post contribute to the topic? Any ideas about what is crawling along the outside of the ISS?

@signals

I have no idea what I could be looking at here. If I didn't know any better I'd think I was looking at an out-of-focus lab rat taking a stroll. Could it be CGI?

Can't wait to see what the experts have to say....

Peace

This is as amusing as watching cats fascinated with the red dot.

Humans fascinated with the white dot.

That does look like something crawling along there, I can see a shadow from it so I'm not thinking it's a light.
I'm looking forward to seeing what it is, somebody will have an answer.

it's a rock.
martian rocks can crawl, can't they?

actually it does look like a form of life [good find signals].

kind of ironic [moronic?] all the effort put into these space probes and they couldn't confirm something being alive when the craft is actually touching it.

I find it odd that it seems to change shape.
At times it looks like it is walking on four legs then it changes shape.
Must be a galactic shapeshifter.
Polar bear or albino rat

I would imagine the ISS is built with highly reflective metal. So my guess is it's a reflection of the Sun or Moon depending when it was taken.
Besides, if it was anything significant or controversial, NASA would've scrubbed it.

You found my alien snail pet!!!!Thanks Signals

On topic:I don't think that this is a reflection.Reflections are usually 2D,this one looks like 3D to me,like it has mass and a shadow.Maybe it's something wrong with my eyes.
What it could be...i don't know.

Whatever it is,it's cool.
