Seriously, dude, you're the one who should leave. Your posts show that you have no clue what it means to be an American. Or, instead of leaving, maybe you should go back to high school and take your civics classes over again and then come back and let us know what you learned.

Lol what am I losing? You are the one who has contradicted yourself and generally shown your ignorance. You admitted to knowing nothing about the Constitution, you clearly have no idea what it takes to run a business, yet that doesnt stop you from making a fool of yourself.

Have you memorised all the uniform commercial codes yet? Hypocrite!

Even constitutional lawyers do NOT memorise everything. There is a difference between not knowing everything and not knowing anything.

A more limited 2nd Amendment? Clearly you do not know the meaning of the phrase "shall not be infringed".

I don't take a literal approach to the second amendment like conservatives do not take a literal approach to the first amendment. It is all interpretation.

When you choose to live in reality, cmon back and try again. For now, youre just another stereotypical college student who thinks they know exponentially more than they actually do.

I see it as more of a peaceful protest and a statement that people are not happy with how things are progressing. As Americans, we do have the right to protest, voice our opinions and disagree.

Regardless of who would have won the election, half the nation would be upset. Because no president, and no politician is going to put their career on the line and do what is right for the people. They are going to support their parties, their buddies, their special interest.

Each election in recent years has gotten more nasty, evoked more feelings then the previous one. And its because Americans are hurting. We have nothing to believe in anymore.

I don't think you are an American. I think you are a US citizen. There's a difference. An American has rights given to them by their Creator. A US citizen has privileges granted to them by their corporate head--United States. Look up the Act of 1871.
Yes, we Americans are hurting, because of all you US citizens!!

To all my Democratic friends.

The election is over, the talking is done.

My party lost, your party won.

So let us be friends, let arguments pass.

I'll hug my elephant,

You kiss your ass.

so you only want what is in the constitution?
ok. say good bye to......
congressional districts, the electoral college, innocent until proven guilty, judicial review, jury of your peers, marriage, no taxation without representation, paper money, political parties, primary elections, right to privacy, right to travel, right to vote, sepertion of powers, education, roads an on and on and on

since you claim social nets aren't to be allowed since they aren't in the constitution, then all of that and more goes as well.
right?

Can you tell me one thing that you can't do now, that you could do 20 years ago?

I hate the NDAA too, but I don't hang around terrorists so it doesn't really affect me.

I dislike the patriot act too, but I don't have any plans of blowing up any buildings.

Do you?

Get over it....President Obama is your President. The sky isn't falling, we are not a socialist country and he was not born in Kenya. Perhaps you should be angry at the conservatives on the right that are willing to pay the president $5 million dollars to take a peek at his college transcripts but, stand by and do nothing while countrymen in the east coast are going hungry and are homeless.

You should do yourself a favor and take a literal approach to the 2nd Amendment, since it's few words are very clear and well defined.

What does shall not be infringed mean in your little fantasy world?

Wow, well first off let me just say how far the censorship of speech in the US has gone. As I am writing this 563 people have signed this.

Is this what we have become? A nation that punishes and demeans other people's points of view?! A nation of "you don't like it, you can get out" minded fellows?

Let me just say, I don't like it and I will not get out. I am a true patriot, meaning I do not owe my loyalty to the government, but to the PEOPLE.

Why do most Americans not accept this as patriotism? A true patriot will stand up to violations of the constitution, and side with the people, not the government. Our founding fathers knew this. That's why they created the system of checks and balances, which are being overruled by the executive branch more and more, with congress doing nothing to stop it.

We now live in a nation that is not elected, but bought by corporate interests.

Let me just make it clear: I do not believe a state should secede, but I believe in their right to do so. Since nullification of unconstitutional federal laws is no longer an option, I see it as a last resort. And with the Texas petition now surpassing 50,000+ signatures it is more than just a few anti-Obama republicans.

So please, remember that our founding fathers gave us the right to protest for a good reason.

Trying to punish those individuals that do will only undermine everyone's liberties.

I live in Texas and since the election I've seen several American flags flying upside down. I'm talking about in nice neighborhoods too. I've never seen that before. Normally Texans seem super patriotic.

Hanging your flag upsidedown is VERY patriotic. It means "Nation in Distress". Everyone who flies the Federal War Flag should be hanging it upside down.
Of course, by flying that flag in the first place, you are declaring support for the corporation known as United States. NOT America. Look up US Civil Flag. Kennedy had one on his coffin. I have one, along with many others who fly the correct flag. Don't even get me started on the gold-fringed one.

Why should I? Do we live in the same period as when the constitution was drafted? Do we face the same threats? You really think everyone should have access to any weapon they want, and whenver they want?

I think there should be some limitiations otherwise we will become somalia with people carrying rpgs on their back and crying allah akbar.

Despite silly conspiracy theories the US US Coast Guard ensign, derived from the Revenue Cutter Service ensign of 1799, is not now and never has been anything other than the ensign of that particular service.

Please - this place is about denying ignorance - not demonstrating it!!

So many of you just don't get it. The best thing that could happen would be for every one to be stripped of their US citizen status. That being your membership in the corporation. Then you could be deported, administratively, back to the Republic. I did it. I was deported from Corp US back to the Wisconsin Republic. I am no longer in the jurisdiction of of the corporation known as WI. Nor do I "reside" in the federal zone of 54751.(zip code adhesion contract.)

I didn't think people could still be this ignorant in the 21st century??!!

Who's ignorant. Look up the Act of 1871. Look up the Bankruptcy of the United States of 1933. If you are a US citizen you are a member of a foreign-owned, bankrupt, corporation. It's very well documented. But hey, I'll give you credit for your most informative response to my post. Prove me wrong. That's what I tell everyone who does not believe what I say.
