Some of you are extremely ignorant regarding these issues, I'm sorry to say. There is a huge difference between waving a flag at say, a social gathering, and waving a flag while rioting in the streets. The difference in those white power idiots and these idiots who are rioting is that the latter are in fact breaking the law. When something of this caliber and scale occurs, it shows that there is a large group of people, although definitely not the majority, willing to break the law for their doctrine. That doctrine, in this case, is in part represented by the flags you see them displaying.

So as I said, there is a huge difference. And I also do not believe people are being paid to carry these flags. No. Many young muslims are following the teachings of this terrorist group. And do you want to know why? Because the Quran tells them to fight non-muslims, plain and simple. These groups wouldn't have a religious leg to stand on as far as peddling their teachings if it weren't written in their holy book. And this is why I am against Islam in general.

Any doctrine that can be used to instill terror and fear, and incite violence on a massive scale is dangerous. Judaism is just as dangerous, as is evidenced by what is happening now with Iran. Christianity has been dangerous in the past, although I haven't seen anything on a similar scale recently. Just look at the crusades. Organized religion, of any kind, is a bad thing. Religion is not, but organized religion.

People need to start seeking their God through themselves, not through some organization that you have to give money to. You don't need to confess your sins to anyone but your God, for instance, as an example. Organized religion has always been corrupt, and it always will be.

These muslims, with what is going on right now, are USING people to further a particular ideology. This is organized religion at its finest. Look how corrupt the Catholic church is. Look how hypocritical the Jewish state has become. All of this is only possible through the organization of religion on a massive scale. Small-time organization for teaching and learning purposes is different by the way, as I don't consider that organized religion. Religion apparently doesn't teach people tolerance and to love their neighbors, because people don't. So either religion isn't effective, or people aren't learning it the correct way. Either way, it should go.

There are many Al Qaeda flags. It just so happens that the flags in the OP are in fact affiliated with Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda has used those flags before. They have fought under the flag. Therefore, it is an Al Qaeda flag.

The plain green flag is affliated with Pro-Ghaddafi

however the green flags I'm looking at in the photos at the Sydney riots are Al Qaeda flags, Hizbollah flags, Palestinian Hamas and the Saudi Arabia' national flag! I can also spot the Islamic Khalifa flag too. I can also identify the headbands......

Thank you for the reply!

I had a feeling that some of the green flags were Hamas, but i wasn't certain.

Thanks for the clarification on all accounts

Arrest them too?

If one of these turn up on the streets, without the government allowing them to protest, and they start inciting hatret arguements. The police immediately turns up, and arrests them. They are being arrested all the time, and if anyone of these turn out to be a "foreigner", they are "sent home" without further notice. In Europe, these guys are "in the criminal record", merely for holding that flag.

The Arabs should be treated the same way ...

Oh come on.....there is also a hugh difference between rioting and terrorist activity. How many of those "extremist" flag wavers are planning a trip to an Al Qaeda training camp to actually bomb a building?

Isn't this more a case of a group of people getting together and letting their frustrations out? I've seen better riots here in my country over some football match but come Monday they all go peacefully back to work. It's group mentality, they don't know any better but if you let the fear dictate your emotions you would conclude that these people actually pose a threat.

I refuse to believe that those halfwits are a threat, period!

Shoot me, I'm done with this nonsense.

So are the Muslims going to riot or protest in the U.S.A. Just wondering since it is going on there and ever where else. If they aren't then why not? Is this the start of the crusades 2012

Looks like Al-CIAeda has been busy.

Funniest part is the whole idea of a "flag" to begin with.

Like a "blood thirsty terrorist group" is sitting down to plan a "flag".

I mean come on, its a CIA/Mossad psyop.

Otherwise TPTB have no way to "prove" that Al-CIAeda is now in your backyard. A flag or some other symbol is required.

We see our flags burnt and buildings torched by those scumbags, it's about time we started to hit back before it's too late, as the world is turning Muslim because of America having a Muslim President, it's only happened since America went pro Muslim.

What is it with you people and flags!?!?!

So? What's wrong with burning a flag? It is a form of free speech, isn't it?

and buildings torched by those scumbags

Right, that is a real problem!! But not the flags, the flags are completely irrelevant throughout this entire thread.

it's about time we started to hit back before it's too late, as the world is turning Muslim because of America having a Muslim President, it's only happened since America went pro Muslim.

Right, now we are thinking constructively. Fight fire with fire, let the fear dominate and strike while we are still standing.......

What's your plan? Who do we kill first? Should we do classical lynchings? Can we get non-terrorist Muslims to wear a sign or patch on their clothes so that we may recognise them?

So many questions, so little time!!

Peace

I thought you were done discussing this "flag nonsense" about 4 posts ago? Just agree to disagree and walk away.
Extremism in any form is a cancer to this world whether it be neo-nazi, islamic, christian, or any other group. Wave your flags all you like, but once you start to inflict harm on another human the buck stops there, plain and simple. The extreme islamic element rearing it's head currently will get taken care of by karma alone, they will get what is coming to them for any crimes committed just like anyone else who chooses to act out in a physically harmful manner.
Just sit back and watch, it will happen, it's only a matter of time.

Just a little concerned, that's all. I'll leave if you want that...

I understand the concern, and I don't want you to leave, just don't beat your head against a brick wall. Sometimes you just have to let off the throttle and let it be no matter how hard it is. At times our best intentions become just a futile effort. Trust me I've been there...

I know right but I just cannot let this go because I know the ones that are going to take the first step are also the ones who are unable to differentiate between Muslim extremists and just regular people.

Just look at this post:

post

Notice how radical Muslims have turned to just plain Muslims? Before long these people will be acting while we are still debating.

Just a little concerned, that's all. I'll leave if you want that...

These guys are pretty angry and it wouldn't have taken much to escalate a lot further as it has around the world.
Cool heads need to prevail and those responsible for this idiotic movie need to be arrested, simple as that.
This issue is a time-bomb ticking, someone needs to apoligise for the offensive film and we all need to get on with our lives.
By the same token, Islamic groups need to be less thin skinned and take it for what it was an idiotic provocation that wasn't needed. Its not worth killing and burning, certainly the culprits should be arrested.

WTF is wrong with people like you? A person should be ARRESTED because they made a video critquing a religion? This is one of the most idiotic thoughts I've ever heard in my life. HAVE YOU EVER BEEN ON YOUTUBE ?!?! There's about a million people who should be arrested by your logic. And hey....while you're at it, why don't you arrest everyone who has made a video bashing any governement in the world? As a matter of fact, everyone who has made a conspiracy theory video.....JAIL....if not, just execute them, eh?

Moronic. It's not illegal in any way to make any kind of video you want as long as it's not child porn, and you aren't killing anyone.

People have the right to make a video criticising religion. People do NOT have a right to violently protest, and they CERTAINLY don't have the right to kill another person because they don't like one of those videos.

Okay, quick recap and then I'm really done because I think things are getting out of context and I'm really tired of this discussion.

The OP was about flags (not the violence during the riots!!):

From what i understand, many protestors were holding the confirmed Al Qaeda flags, but it is still to be determined what the other flags were. By inferring, one can assume that they might also be Terrorist related flags...either way, the individuals should be monitored and locked up.

I know that they weren't the majority of the protestors, but still, it is kind of worrying that there are extremists running around...

Nothing more, nothing less.

My point was:

More people with an extreme idiology wave flags.

Nothing more, nothing less.

That they used violence was never in the OP and was not the topic of this thread. The topic was the flags!!

You guys made the topic about the violence used during the riots...

I ask you this, were the people using violence during the riots also the people waving those flags?

You apparently think so or at least lump them into one and the same group. Flag wavers / violent protestors.

Then by that reasoning the people waving flags for Anders Breivik on Twitter are also the ones shooting up that island full of kids.

Why are people like Darren Clifft and Nick Greger not in jail and why is the OP so surprised that there are extremists running around??

I rest my case....

Seriously.... I'm back to the off-topic section of this site...better for my sanity.

I would say, without a doubt that they are frustrated with the influx of CRIMINAL Muslims, that are now pervading ordinary life. Unfortunately the early Lebanese immigrants of the 80's, whom were mainly Christian are now being tarred by the brush of the influx of PC accepted 'political refugees', over the last 20 years, whom have turned out to be mostly Muslim and redical.

Lebanese Muslim gangs in OZ terrorise Australia citizens

Australian police seem powerless to stop the growing numbers of middle eastern Muslim gangs getting out of control. As soon as they get rid of 1, 10 more take its place. They take verbal abuse from the criminals & feel intimidated & cant speak out against them because its doesn't seem politically correct. Yet the middle eastern gangs seem to be lavishing up the sunlight of cream of political correctness & the privacy act; both of which seem to protect the criminals whilst frustrating the innocent.

The ruthless mind set of the Lebanese criminal gangster & how they have no remorse for humanity & total disrespect for the law. spitting on police cameras & abusing policemen. Police can't or wont seem to control the escalating problem maybe they think this situation will go away but we can all see its going to get a lot worse. The Lebanese aren't afraid of the police at all & now this politically correct stance the police have taken for the last decade has been about the same amount of time that the Lebanese have successfully organised their crime syndicate.

The Lebanese gangster leader says "F*ck the Aussies, I'd kill them again" So if immigration's got any more of these gangsters please let them in by all means... not.

In closing, I'd say that they average Ozzy has had a belly full of these human scum, and would wish them back to where they came from. Unlike their predecessors, they've brought no VALUE to the community...just CRIMINALITY.

You do not know how many , we do not how many, but the potential is there for it.

I say remove the threat before an incident happens. Intent is never known until after the fact.

All Saturday needed was a few molotov cocktails and , well, things would not have turned out so pretty

I can't speak for everyone in Australia of course, but I do not think it is muslims that are the problem. It is the extremists who have no regard for other people.

So a short answer is no

Indeed, nobody knows but you are willing to take action based on a potential.....!?!

Remember that the next time you are applying your freedom of speech and the majority / government feel you are a potential threat.
