Pure publicity. You notice they aren't firing the other 250 CEO assholes they routinely hire...as part of just 'good business' policy!

WHAT DOES THIS POST MEAN?????
Anyone?

Actually, his comment does. He states his belief that liberals are collectivists(this is demonstrably true), and uses that hypothesis to explain why a liberal would think it acceptable to attack a lowly worker in a company perceived as "evil"(which to them means that said company/group disagrees with them) instead of taking their issue up with the individual who made the offensive comment.

But he is wrong and using fantasy as his basis for that. That is what the response to it says.
Guess you were the one who needed something explained to you.
I was also going to respond to him about just making things up and running with it but I was beat to it.

Then you played mod wannabe.

I have watched it a few times before, the guy is a professional jerk.

I like the Watters World segments.

This is the best one so far! Outstanding!

How is it fantasy? Group think is a hallmark of liberalism/socialism. Remember what dear leader said about "you didn't build that business on your own". It is a major precept of liberalism. Show me anywhere where liberals support individual achievement.

Obamas words were more like 9 words:

- If you've got a business, you didn't build that ! -

They claimed he was taken out of context.

When we hear the whole speech, it only sounds worse.

----------
I think Adam Smith and Obama should give a speech together.

They are both lecturers.

I want to see them at the DNC Convention together.

All i know is that he is unemployed.

Being an MBA he could start up his own company.

The website could be www.howtogetfiredfast.com.

This could be his recruitment video!

While I think he is likely gay, it really isn't relevant to the way he treated her or to the fact he got fired. Whether he is gay or straight may be open to debate, the fact that he is a complete jerk is not.

You really don't need an MBA to start a business. I have been self employed for ~5 years now. I will never go back to a "job" again.

He could get a job at Media Matters and work for Billionaire George Soros.

I can also see him teaching full time at Berkeley.

They will hire him no problem.

As much as I do NOT agree with Chick's owner's stance on gay marriage and his pretentious attitude to those who don't goosestep to his version of what is considered the 'right' way to live, I don't agree with being mean to those who work there, either. Its a job, for crying out loud, not a freaking statement. If the employees were making good money and living a decent lifestyle, then I could see it being a political or religious statement by working there.... but lets face it... its a fast food chain, not Google or Microsoft. They're NOT making good money, they're NOT even making decent money by the standards of today's economy. They're there because they need the job, the income (as paltry as it may be) and if they had a choice, they would not be there in the first place. The guy was an ass for being mean to someone who had nothing to do with company policies or viewpoints. What a twit. Since he is now unemployed, perhaps he will see things from a different perspective... but I doubt it. Such insight takes depth of character, and just like the owner of Chick's, I'm sure he lacks it.

bravo!!! what ever happened to freedom of speech??????? everyone that supports chick-fil-a's freedom of speech should also support this mans freedom of speech, otherwise you are a hypocrite.

Maybe you need to learn the facts??? He brought his company name into it due to his egotistical attitude! That is why they fired him! He does have a freedom of speech! However, his arrogant attitude and feeling of importance is what got him fired! Not his freedom of speech!

But now he apologized.

Go to the YouTube site and watch it there and then read the responses.

They mainly say he is sorry he got caught.

He's not sorry for the rant at Chick-fil-A.

His "apology" was a self serving attempt at justifying his actions. There was no real apology there. What a piece of %#@*

Really? WTH does it matter if he is or not? He said he was not; it should not matter either way. What I can say is he was a rude prick. He may not always be a rude prick but at that time on that day he attacked the wrong person, someone who was not a part of any of this.

While I agree with his words I am not sure I believe his words. I do not really feel his apology. It might be real and I could be wrong but I am not sure his intentions are true.

I am inclined to believe this. I am not so sure his apology was a real one. I agree with his words though. Maybe it is due to my bias on the guy after seeing his attack on the girl, but I am not sure I can believe he is true in his intentions.

Show me one successful person anywhere that has no one to thank for their success.

JUST ONE.

Doesn't matter, he was off the job and his performance has nothing to do with Chick Filet. If he wants to be an arse that's his pejorative but to lose his job over this, is nothing short of politics. Not saying he was in the right, because I myself have dealt with it on my end, but for someone to get him fired, it's just wrong.

LOL. Maybe...just MAYBE if the arrogant prick hadn't posted the video on youtube to gloat about it he'd still have his job. That's what Vante had an issue with - as do most corporations whose employees act like dillweeds then post it up on Social Media / The Internet for the world to see.

Had it been a private conversation between the two of them, I'm sure he wouldn't have lost his job. But nooooo he HAD to post it up on YouTube to gloat about it.

Aaaaaa, I could onlt take a minute of this tools "apology" before my BS meter went off. Like another said here, the only thing he's sorry about is getting caught.

No? Odd. I have been there three times in the past few days, and find their chicken quite good.

Me too..... and no, their business is not hurting any. Always packed out.

People who go there, go for the food, not the politics.
