Why do US Channels not air any Olympics live? They never freaking well do. Unless it was their country hosting it. Not much of an Olympic spirit.


I think NBC has live stream online or page one or two had a link to it.

Also there's plenty of apps that have live

I see a lot of empty seats.

Or maybe there are a lot of folks wearing blue boxes.

Dipping the flag is like when the colour guard lowers it's height (rather than upright, the flag is angled down somewhat) to represent a bow or curtsey of sorts.

I didn't get to see anything so am unsure why the USA didn't. What was the flag bowing to?

Yes we loved the 007 moment and were guessing who was going to jump out first. My son was in stiches when her majesty took a leap. He also laughed at Mr Bean although he has no idea who Mr Bean is (I am old enough to remember him).

In defense of the german: they do this kind of salute as well on the carnival.
