The Creator was not even in the first 2 drafts. It was added later - - - and refers to the Deist concept of a Universal Creator - - - that created the physical world - - gave it to man - - and had no more involvement.

And I read it as the men referred to being all of mankind. There's that pesky interpretation again.

Perhaps we should just agree to disagree. Although I'm not at all sure what it is we seem to be disagreeing about.

Then you are making my point. Curse of Ham was used to justify slavery - - just as the bible is used today against homosexuals.

And the #1 reason is the bible.

No one has to like or agree with homosexuality to support EQUAL RIGHTS.

I agree. At least in modern times.

It is difficult to actually know what was in Jefferson's mind at the time.
