The issue here is that the whole argument of wrong prefix holds no water because of the frequency at which this type of thing is done. The fact that this happened with him means absolutely nothing.

She can bring up the other potential issues with his SSN, thats fine and dandy. I cannot speak in the same way about those issues because I am not as informed about them. But if she goes into court with the prefix difference as the main crutch for her argument, she's going to get laughed out of court.

She wants to see a copy of his SS5. This is the application that one fills out to get a social security card. It is on microfiche and she is asking the court for access to Obama's. It should not be a problem if it really is his social security number, should it? Guess you knew it all and didn't bother to watch the video.

Same here. I was born in HI, same place as Obama (supposedly) but according to that calculator a poster posted my prefix is NY. Oddly enough, I was raised in NY from the age of 3.

Now my question is, when are we given SSN? At birth or later on? If it's the latter then having a NY prefix makes sense. I was just under the impression it was given to you when you're born.

This lady is in the same boat as Taitz and Arpaio with this one ... she is asking for access to information that she has no right to have access to. She can absolutely ask for things to be investigated and verified, but her asking for this is like the people asking for Obama's BC and college transcripts - the only time it is available to the general public is when the person in question makes it that way. Otherwise its just like the same information for you and I and every other person on this board - private.

This is just a bunch of right winged political BS propaganda. He is an American, he was born in the US. Presidents are fully vetted by their party and by the government before taking the office.

If this was real it wouldn't be before he was reflected for president which he is going to, this is why this is coming out now because the republicans and trying anything they can. No one thought Bush was going to get re-elected but he did, and attack me all you want but Obama has done good and in my opinion is a much better president then Bush was.

Just FYI- one is not given a ssn at birth. It is when it is applied for that it is received. Very possible that your parents applied for it in NY.

That is correct some do not apply until they start to work if their parents do not. I have known someone that didn't get theirs until they were 15 because they needed for a permit to drive.

Yep, born and raised buddy! I voted for Obama and I will vote for him again. I think the health care act is great and something we needed for a long time, also he has passed more bills then any president in over 50 years. He helped the auto industry which complain all you want but the auto industry, more specifcally GM help build this country to what it was. Obama is also the most disrespected president in our history, it is pretty sad.
